I bought this book as a text for one of my classes. It is a good resource for ACSM certification. Great book.

The newest edition of ACSM's guidelines continues to be the gold standard for the professional in sports medicine. The content is research based and fairly easy to interpret and apply. Information is easy to access and the new spiral bound edition is much more user friendly. Overall, I think that ACSM does a great job in providing professionals in the field of sports medicine and exercise physiology with the practical information they need on a daily basis.

Good resource...helps in clinical setting. Handy, small and easily portable so you can carry it in a lab coat pocket. Pull out, easy to mark pages and utilize in a clutch, time-demanding situation.

I didn't like that it took awhile to arrrive, longer than I have ever waited for an ebya item. I decided to buy this item because it was one of the cheaper books and I needed it for school

I bought this book for an exercise prescription class that I have. It has the protocol and charts that you need to get the job done. Other than that I haven't had the need to read it much. It is nice and light-weight though, with a soft cover which is practical. The price is also right for a textbook. I would recommend this book if you need it or something like it for exercise science classes.
