I think this book is as good a diet guide as anyone is going to find in the next decade. It uses the eating principles of fitness models, but the workout principles that men's health has really become famous for. To the interviewer above me's credit, you shouldn't go into a diet with the goal of or for the purpose of getting abs - but it's something that REALLY motivates men, and men is who this is written for (though, women love it too).
