A-ha - Live at Valhall (DVD, 2002)

You don't have to be an a-ha fan to enjoy this concert. a-ha puts on a great show including both their old standards like "Take On Me" and "The Sun Never Shines On TV" as well as many cuts from their 2001 CD Minor Earth Major Sky. Even after 15 years, Morten Harket has an incredible voice which he uses to great advantage. In "Summer Moves On" he holds the famous note aaassskkkk for over 20 seconds.

You can't miss.

I was a big A-ha fan in 80's. I have their concert "Live in South America" a show from their prime (20 years ago)on LaserDisc and this is best A-ha by a long-shot. This DVD, "Aha-Live at Valhall" was like seeing a local band at a high-school dance. Low energy show. Pal (Paul) seemed to be bored, distant and out-of-it. The three members seemed as though they did not know each other, showed little interaction and acted as though they were not having a good time. A female performer (band friend?) joined in with the band after a few songs to detract a moment from the shows mediocrity. All in all a real disappointment and has tarnished by fond view and memories of them.
