Industry Reviews British craftsman Rowland was an acknowledged leader in the care and restoration of antiques. Since his original edition of this book some 15 years ago, new products and techniques have come to the fore. Antiques writer Riley updates his effort, following the alphabetical arrangement he created. The book is divided into three sections: the details of items to be cleaned and repaired; materials, equipment, and instructions for cleaning; and specialized suppliers. While the first two sections are quite specific and well presented, the third lists only English suppliers, limiting the book's utility on this side of the pond. A strong, if brief, index is included. In general, this is a good effort, but only for materials and techniques. Alexander Hartmann, Bloomsburg Univ., PA Fox
