A Writer's Reference by Diana Hacker (2006, Paperback, Spiral)

I needed it for class. It's a good book with a lot of good information. I like the tabs that it has, while it can get a bit confusing, I enjoy the way it is structured.

i bought this book two months ago and i love it. it is in a very good condition. i got it only a few days after i ordered it and it is very helpful in my research paper i'm writing.

It was exactly what I was needing. I bought it for my college english class. It is a very interesting and helpfull guide, on how to write proper english essay's. It helps with punctuation, proper words, organization, thesis statements. I have enjoyed using it. It has been a great help in helping me write essay's.

I like the fact that the reference book is tabbed. So you dont have to be searching all the time to access a specific topic! Great reference book.

This book has all of the essential information for writers and is quite a convenient tool. I highly recommend it and have to say that it has helped me quite a bit in my writing processes.

Book rec'd faster than expected. A torn index page, but it was still in the book. Other than this, in good condition.

I bought the the book for my MBA program and I was impressed with the cover and neat pages. It's just like a new and it's inexpensive. I really saved money. Overall, I'd recommend such means of getting this book if you're on a budget.

The tabbed organization is great. It lets me flip right to what I'm looking for. I also love the sections on grammar. It explains all those little things that you never quite understood but always wanted to know about, and it provides examples for everything. This is one of few books that I plan on holding onto after I'm done with the class for which I originally purchased it.

This is a book that I have been grateful as a resource for writing papers. I have used the 2003 edition for several years now and finally "upgraded" to the most recent edition. It's a great source!

This is a great buy, it was cheaper here than many other places. You can hardly tell it's used. There were no markings or bent pages or anything. Being a soft cover, the cover did get a little squished in the mail since it wasnt in a box, only a bubble wrapped mailer. But didn't cause enough damage for complaint. I'm sure it will bounce right back.

Condition is as mentioned by the seller but just no choice with the way the book is handled through shipping. Fast shipping and great having business with!

I like that it is small, and cheap! I bought it bc i needed it for school, not bc i wanted it for fun.

I thought that this was required reading for my class. Instead it turned out to be a very good reference book on writing formats, APA, MLA, etc. It's small so you can use for any class and very easy to refer to. I recommend it for today's college student young or old.

This was the book that was needed for my college classes and I was glad to see they shipped to APO. This helped alot because I didn't have to send it to my wife and have her ship it to me.

I like I didn't have to purchase it from the school because book prices are too high! I dislike that it is still expensive, and there wasn't very many listings for them so it took about 3 weeks of voting on this book to actually get one at a "reasonable" price!
