A Song For You - Temptations (R&B) (The) (CD 2004)

This cd has one of my all time favorite songs by the Temps (Memories). I have never been a huge fan of them but,that song is so beautiful. This cd is a must have for any old school collector. I highly reccomend buying it.

I bought this cd because in the early 80's my family took a trip across the US and someone made a cassette tape of mixed music for us. Needless to say because of that one tape, that was one of the best trips we have taken together. I recently bought an MP3 player and decided that I would definitely get old songs that brought back great memories for me and this cd was AT the top of the list...I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!

This album was the finest of sounds written and sang by the Tempations. I'm quite sure no one is very familuar with it, as I've been looking for it for several years. Sure are the 'so called' album of the BEST OF - but never listed is this one.
If want to hear some kick-butt, real music and lyrics - You must get this C.D.
And the seller was true as to it being new from factory!

A friend, Donald Baldwin, wrote some of the songs and produced one side of the recording,
when it was released as an LP. So sentimental reasons....it sounds pretty dated, yet I am glad I got it!

I love the songs Memories and Firefly which I have been looking for for years. Great purchase! I've always heard these songs and didn't know who the singers were. They don't make music like this anymore and it wasn't made that long ago. Thanks!

what i love abount this album is,I felt like this was one of their greatest works. Dennis Edwards was at his finest singing memories,memories,sweet,sweet memories, bring tears to your eyes. When this album came out in the seventies i had the original along with every album they ever made, but down through the years whith lending out and people not returning, i was wiped out. the collection would be priceless today! I decided to buy it because i'm starting over, and this time all albums will be under lock and key. All i can say is the Temptations is one of the greatest groups ever,ever,ever! I have seen their movie so many times. I would like to buy if anyone have the one with Leon playing David Ruffin. It has been an honor.5129Maxine

I love music from the past and the fact that I have been able to find old tunes on CD and old movies on DVD is great for me. It save me time driving around and making phone calls to stores who have those annoying messages. The sellers are good about responding to any questions before and after purchases. I really haven't had any problems....just enjoy shopping in a convenient way.
