A New Hallelujah * by Michael W. Smith (CD, Oct-2008, Provident Music)

Having not done a live recording since the last worship disc back in 2002, Michael brings a wide arrangement of songs to the table. These songs aren't all exaclty worship and praise songs, but they do bring the positive upbeat of the crowd to sing along. Surprisly enough, the radio promos for this CD release have been out long enough to earn a song for this years WoW collection,(Mighty To Save) which was released about the same time. Two songs from previous releases are recorded here, Healing Rain and Grace from his Stand project. Michael W. Smith is his own person who never stops ministering to the those in need of the Gospel. Twenty years ago, I 2 Eye was certified gold with the number one hit song Secret Ambition, which goes to show how much of an impact someone like Michael can have on the world as we know it! At 51, he's still going strong!

I bought this CD three weeks ago but I wanted it since long time ago. I really like it, I am deeply in love with Jesus like Micheal so, I'll worship with all my heart, mind and sould the king who is exalted. Simply, is TERRIFIC! I love it!!!!

This CD is inspirational and beautiful, you truly feel the love of God in the music by Michael W. Smith.

I love this cd, I bought this one because I had it but it started to skip and I wanted a new one. I have most of Michael W. Smith's and I like his music.

The entire CD is excellent, not a song on there that I would skip over. Great combination of songs.

Really a great CD. It was made during his African Tour. Very uplifting. Lots of praise songs!! African Children's Chior sounded wonderful!

He's set the bar so high that he can barely maintain such a high level of excellence. Worship music as we have come to know it has a broad identity. Yet true or dare I say real worship music is hard to find. Michael W Smith is synonomous w/ worship and for good reason. He's one of the best of this and any other generation and this CD though different from Worship and Worship again(which set the bar soooooo high) will fill that need for a "worship escape" while driving down the highway or just takin' a walk...

The new michael w smith new album so amazing, and blessed me a lot. So I can imagine the GOD's manifestation from the song. The African choir is good too.

Wanted a morally acceptable CD for my Dad for Christmas. He always loves to listen to music while working at his shop. This was a perfect fit for him.
