A New Collection of Three Complete Novels by Michael Crichton (1994, Hardcover)

Congo, Sphere, and Eaters of the Dead are the three novels in one cover. All three are excellent works of science and historical fiction, and all three have formed the basis for movies (Eaters of the Dead is The 13th Warrior, with Antonio Banderas). My personal opinion is that the books are a thousand times better than the movies, with the exception of The 13th Warrior, which is equally as good as the book.
In fact, I bought the book just to read Eaters of the Dead, and was pleasantly surprised that the other two were so exceptionally well written.
I highly recommend buying this - it's a steal! Avid readers can't go wrong with three books for the price of one!
On a short sidenote, Eaters of the Dead was based off the Anglo-Saxon Beowulf. If history and literature are of interest to you, I highly recommend it, as well as the movie 13th Warrior.

I picked the book up to read, EATERS OF THE DEAD. It is the book that the movie, "The 13th Warrior" is based on. I enjoyed the book, although it did leave you wanting more information.
I decided to buy the 3 book collection to also read up on Congo-another book made movie that I have not had a chance to read.
I was suprised how closely the movie followed the book and how much detail the books contained. You could almost see read the book and watch the movie together and they would not deviate much.
