A.I. Artificial Intelligence (DVD, 2002, Anamorphic Widescreen (Letterboxed); Special Edition)

The whole plot is fascinating. The cast is excellent. I bought it for repeated viewings. It almost is believable and in that repsect it was unsettlling.

None of my friends seemed to like this movie but I find it astounding! Not only because that Halley Joel Osmund kid is a great actor. Not only because the industrial band MINISTRY is in it!!! But because it's a good sci-fi flick. Spielberg would have ruined it if he had gotten to it earlier. You'll notice that all "evil" or "flawed" characters appear "redneck-ish" while all "noble" and "intelligent" characters look very Jewish. Very typical of Spielberg's last 10 movies. Overall, a fine storyline, a bit slow at parts, but wonderful soundtrack and scenery go well with the stunning special effects.

A.I. is interesting and disturbing fairy tale of a little boy's quest to be a 'real boy'. The main character is not real at all but a robot designed by a company called Cybertronics for the comfort and convenience of childless adults. I found the film to be complex and intellectually challenging, and couldn't stop watching as David tried to find his way in a strange and unsympathetic world. The idea of it was radically different from the comfort of the reassuring fairy tales we are used to, and while I found it to be a bit unsettling it is one I would watch again and again.

This is one of the finest science fiction films of recent times. I believe that as time passes, it will be revered in a similar way to Blade Runner. The effects are groundbreaking and seamless, the cinematography exceptional and it has a darkness about it which is entirely alien to mainstream cinema. This is one of Spielberg's finest achievements - if you haven't seen it, stop waiting! It's not quite perfect but it travels way beyond the cliches and situations that plague so many modern movies

Personally i loved this movie. This movie is a long one but it has great special effects and a story line to match. I give two thumbs up. This movie can be a bit sad but for the ones who love great science fiction and the love of a good story than this is the movie for you. A movie i would personally keep in my library of movies at home. A timeless classic.

Had seen on TV and liked it, so I decided to buy it. I liked the price and it came very quickly. This is a good way to buy Movies. Much cheaper than Columbia House.

Glad to find the Movie I was looking for at a good price. Shipping cost might have been a little lower, but overall a very good buying experience.

All you need is a heart and an open mind, in order to truly appreciate and understand this great film..I hardly find mainstream movies this meaningful and moving- this one is my all time favorite- the casting is great and the plot, directing and writing are just phenomenal.. a must own.

I have always liked this movie, and was happy to get it a price that I could afford. These types of movies always makes you think, what if? I like that.

The DVD was new in its wrap,worked grat and was in great condition......it was a great deal.I decided to buy it because it was an item I was lookingg for and it was new and very good price.

This is one of the best Movies. I like it becAUSE IT IS about a little boy robot named david who wants to be a human. He is first put with a human family, and learns to love his mommy and begins to wish he was a real boy so his mommy would love him more. Therefore, he embarks with another robot on a sad quest to become a real boy.

THIS MOVIE WAS MADE FOR ANYONE WHO CAN APPRECIATE A UNIQUE, HEARTFELT STORY. WHY IT WASN'T AS WELL ACCEPTED AS OTHER FILMS IS BEYOND ME. IT DEFINATELY MADE ME APPRECIATE MY MOMMY. I GIVE IT TWO THUMBS UP.

Just a great movie. Especially the end. I wanted to buy it because sometimes I really want to go back to some scenes and rewatch them. It gives me happiness.

this movie is a play off pinochio in a way .... i wouldnt recommend it for younger children because of how slow it is it may not keep their attention, but around 11yrs should be ok.... so basicly its about a young boys fight/journey to become a real boy and i suppose thats how it seems drawn out is because theyre trying to make a point that he will keep fighting and not give up ANY hope, so it leaves you sitting in your chair thinking "just give up" but he keeps going, im not sure i liked that angle because i almost didnt want to finish the movie but i did and it was worthwhile .... i say rent it and see how you feel about it before buying it because i know not everyone will like it.... also the filiming quality wasnt so good, the movie was filmed in 2002 BUT it has a quality as if it was from the early 90's im SURE this is not intentional but its there....

This movie has a great story. Very unique and very good acting. If you are into futuristic robot movies this is a must see.

This movie A.I. Artificial Intelligence had a deep story and what most caught my attention was that it made me think about how things are done an meant to be. Another thought that came to mind is that we make things and just forget about them.

My husband was looking for this movie and for some reason could not find it. I decided to look on Ebay because Ebay of course has everything. This movie is not like any other movie I had seen. If I had to I would say that A.I. is similiar to Bicentennial Man. In short this movie is about a robot who spends his life seeking approval from the humans he loves. His journey to become human takes him to places he never knew before.

i decided to buy yhis movie because it is fricken awsome...the movie is a bit long but it is so iterestin g taking you into the future. exploreing the possibilitys of artificial intelligence to the fullest. science at its greatest. i would buy this movie agian if i hadnt already, lol!!!

This movie is so great, i couldnt stop crying. This was Stanley Kubricks true masterpiece, and steven spielberg saw his vision through. This movie is a must see, a great story and an instant classic. The little boy in the movie was really good.

I loved how this movie shows how even something man made can learn to love. My wife had seen this movie before and I had not. So after telling me a little about it we had to have it. Ebay is great for finding things such as this and friendly people to deal with. The seller of this movie was great and we as always got great service from him. After watching this movie I was so happy about buying it. There was nothing to dislike about it in my book anyway. I really do love this movie and I would say though that some people don't, so rent it and then decide weather or not you want this movie, but all'n all, for me it was a great buy.
