A First Course in Differential Equations by Dennis G. Zill (2008, Hardcover)

it is a good math book to use. it is also cheap than others . i like it.i did not think i will get it at this price. i appreciated the seller.

I normally don't have any issues with ebay purchases, but for some reason, when i bought my school books for this semester, i just couldn't get my books. This seller showed horrible service. I tried multiple times to contact the seller and there was no response. I eventually went to another source for the book and bought it there. This was a month after i had purchased the book on ebay and still had recieved neither the book or a reply to multiple emails. I got the book from the other source in a few days and didnt' get my refund on the purchase from ebay until 2 months after ordering the things in the first place. I can't say i was impressed with this particular sale from ebay.

The book was in perfectly fine condition. Transaction went through smoothly and the book arrived timely. Not much to be disliked about the service ;)

Soft cover, international edition is working out great for me in my class. I am using it a lot. So far nothing is different from the American edition. It is lighter weight than the hardcover books, which is nice when you've got to carry a lot of other books around as well. It was much cheaper than the American edition but so far everything has been the same if not better than the American edition.

I liked it because it was the same book the teacher asked us for, and the price was very good in comparison to other bookstores and websites.

I am not exactly sure why ebay has asked me to review the hardcover version of this book. I purchased a paperback international version. However, even for the paperback, I am completely satisfied with the product. As an engineering student, higher level math is a must for me. Though I may have slacked some in some of my lower level maths, this book has a good balance of describing new concepts with a review of the concepts it assumes are common knowledge to the reader. At the same time, however, it also gives the reader a chance to stretch his or her knowledge with problems that engage all of a mathematician's skill sets.
A note on the comparability of the IV with the USV: While officially the US version is required in my class, i have had no discrepancies using the IV. All of the chapter material is identical and so are all the problems and examples.

It's a brand new, paperback copy of Differential Equations-- with a HUGE sign going across, reading "DO NOT SELL IN US." :/ Other than that it is exactly the same as the ones without a huge "do not sell..." sign

The book was in good condition. I have noticed that there has been some writing in it, but that is ok. The writing has actuially been helpful. Thanks for the book.

Useable and easily legible for when you need it after Cal 2 great for your class. Smallest math textbook you'll prolly ever own
