A Christmas Gift For You From Phil Spector by Phil Spector (CD, Dec-1990, ABKCO Records)

I thought that this CD would be hard to find but I received it quickly and in very good condition. I would buy from this seller again.

I love this C.D. It has the genius of Phil Spector surrounded by the great music of the Christmas Season.. or is it the other way round? Buy it .. try it .. love it (too).

This cd is a collection of 1960's version rock and roll Christmas songs, ( Darlene Love, The Ronettes, The Crystals Bob B. Soxx ) I highly recommend this cd to anyone who likes 50's and 60's era music!!!

By far, this is one of the best Christmas albums I own. Where else can you hear the Crystals, Bob B. Soxx and the Blue Jeans, and Darlene Love belt such soulful tunes from the Christmas canon. For many years, I've looked for this title, only to find it wasn't in print. Thank you eBay!

I love Phil Spector's Christmas Album. I was very happy to have seen it on e-bay, I had a problem with the bidding thinkng, I was bidding on one, I ended up with two, from two different sellers. Thats ok tho I kept one sealed for they are collectiables. something I can pass along to my children and grandbaby. They both arrived before Christmas I was thankful for that. Good experience for me to watch more carefully on bidding and, whom I'm bidding from....over all great experience Thank You

Cd quality is superb, I love the music, and it's hard to find such a wonderful compilation for such a price.

I've been looking an entire year for this cd. Being a baby boomer with parents who liked rock and roll, this is what we listened to in the mid 60's on the radio and I still love it. In my opinion, this is Christmas collection captures Phil Spector at his best,you can feel the wall of sound he is famous for, as it rushes over you like a wave Darlene Love's voice on "Santa Clause is Coming to Town" will give you chills and Ronnie Spector (need I say more, just her name is enough) has never sounded better than on "I saw Mommie Kissing Santa Claus" There are only one or two tracks where the production is not as pronounced,but that doesn't take anything away from the song. The artists that were chosen to be on the album/cd certainly were a fine representation of the American talent around then. Their voices were warm,clear,clean,crisp,natural and Spector was a recording genius at showcasing this. To sum it up, if you're looking for great rock and roll Christmas music for your next holiday gathering or to listen to in the car on your way to work, you can sing along or get up and dance. I recommend this one, you won't regret it, if you can find it! Good luck.
