    Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" has long been considered one of the greatest works in British literature. Adapting it into an animated (1990) version AND including a children's "read-a-long" text is an educational masterpiece that gives access to a great work of British literature to a child (of even an adult who is learning to become literate!).
