OK, I never buy CD's for myself but as I was Christmas shopping I seen this CD and remembered Bo from the TV show American Idol and how much I enjoyed his singing so I bought it and I have played it so much I'm driving my son crazy. This is a MUST have CD...All I have to say is GREAT JOB BO..........

Bo Bice was a personal favorite of mine from last season's American Idol... I think with The Real Thing, Bo Bice has gotten close to something special, but he's not yet there. To me, his vocals and the riffs / beats are strong - but for some odd reason, the CD seems like the production and song-writing weren't delivered by top notch producers and song-writers... its almost as if the record company put its B-team on the project. Its unfortunate because Bo Bice is full of talent and makes the best of each track - unfortunately some of the song writing is very immature and lame. That said, The Real Thing is still enjoyable and I expect the next Bo Bice album to be a bigger success. Overall rating: 4/5.

I really had no plans on buying this, though I do like Bo. I guess I just thought that he’d be doing too much old school rock. So, when someone gave it to me to listen to, I was happily surprised. It was really good.

This is just about the worst cd I've ever bought. Bad music, bad sound quality...This sounds NOTHING like the Bo Bice we all learned to love on AI. His voice has been altered in the studio and loses all the resonance & smokey tones. All in all a HUGE disappointment.

I have really enjoyed this cd. Bo Bice is a great singer and the lyrics to the songs are well written and heartwarming. I really hope Bo goes far with this record. My only thing that I really didn't like was some of the songs are similar in style.

A talented young man who did not let fame go to his head. He stayed true to his wife and child and put them first even while he was going through many physical trials himself. He is a great role model for young people; he is popular but not immoral and God has blessed him because Bo Bice has honored God by doing the right things and not fallen to the terrible lies of Satan to give him power and money if he will sin terrible sins. Thank the Good Lord for people like Bo Bice who did not sacrifice his family for fame.

This is the perfect Cd for any teenage girl. My daughter plays it all the time.The one thing I like about this CD is there is no foul lauguage like most CD have these days. Bo has a very mellow voice and anyone could fall in love with him.

This CD is not at all what I expected from him after his performances on AI. The first 8 songs on the track are all love songs. If you're looking to hear the rock songs that he sang, this is not the CD for you.

ITS THE BEST!! MY KIDS LOVE TO DANCE TO IT! THERE 41/2 AND 16MO. MY HUSBAND THOUGHT I WAS CRAZY, CUZ DURING A/IDOL I KEPT VOTING FOR BO, AND I KNEW HE WLD MAKE TO THE FINAL.. HE HD NO INTEREST IN BO, BUT AFTER HEARING HIS CD HE REALLY ENJOYED IT.

Great CD ReviewThe Bo Bice CD is a great addition to my collection of music. My wife and I liked him when he was on American Idol and wanted to get his CD. We just never could find it in the stores locally around our area. If you are looking for a great CD I would say try this one.

I bought this product only because the price was right for me and coincidently I just previously purchased Taylor Hicks CD and saw this one. I am giving this product a low rating because my wife and I thought this CD of Bo Bice was terrible but I would of really been upset if I had bought this CD at a store at a much higher price. Just being honest. It changed our opinion of Bo's music!! This is a good example of the value of Ebay to us customers versus retail stores!!

Ok, I was a fan of Bo before he lost out to Carrie Underwood, not that I did not think Carrie was talented, he was different. Again the South rules strong, he has an appealing voice and belts out songs that make you wake up and take notice!

This is an excellent CD for Bo Bice fans. Its not quite what you would expect from him when you think of who his inspirations are but it still turned out to be a GREAT CD. Would like to hear a little something edgier, more rock out of our Bo Bice next CD though.

Bo Bice IS "The Real Thing"Bo Bice was my all time favorite from American Idol Season 4 and he is definately making a career for himself. I'm a American Idol fan and so far he is my favorite. I fell in love with his sultry, awesome vocals. He has a great recording voice. This album is very close to being excellent. I can't wait for his next album to come out. I also recommend his Sugar Money cd, and the songs that he sang on American Idol.
