Batman Forever by Original Soundtrack (CD, Jun-1995, 1 Disc, Atlantic USA)

What Soundtrack better shows the diversity in Genre of the 90's than the "Batman Forever" soundtrack? Have you ever seen a compilation with U2, The Offspring and Seal in the same place? I somehow lost the CD and HAD to replace it... One of the 10 top favorites of my 1,500 CD Collection.

The songs on this album were written for the film. The track listing could not be more packed. U2, PJ Harvey, Brandy(Featuring Lenny Kravitz), Seal, Massive Attack with Tracy Thorn, Mazzy Star, The Offspring, Nick Cave, Method Man, the Flaming Lips, etc. The music is well written and the lyrics are excellent. Don't allow the over-the-top production of the film, and its cartoon-y nature detour you from buying this album.

It was one of his favorites and if were not for ebay,
then he would have never been able to find it.

What I liked about the soundtrack was Seal, Methodman, and Brandy, and well as some of the other songs. I disliked some of the ohter songs. I decided to buy it for my collection.

I have cassette tape of this soundtrack but now I have search on Ebay so I bought my favorite Soundtrack on a CD.. ^_^

Sweeping irresistibly forward like some dream hybrid of Ziggy Stardust, Kashmir-era Zeppelin and German techno, U2's massive "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me" launches this disc. Also included are tracks by Brandy (the Lenny Kravitz-produced "Where Are You Now?"), Seal ("Kiss from a Rose"), Eddi Reader ("Nobody Lives Without Love"), and The Devlins ("Crossing the River"). Michael Hutchence butchers Iggy Pop's "The Passenger," but The Offspring mines big fun from The Damned's "Smash It Up.

This has to be my most favorite cd cuz of U2 on it. Think it will go well with my U2 collection. Great way to collect at an economical price and will definitely buy again!

I bought this soundtrack because I wish I could have every soundtrack CD from every movie I like. Fact: I listen to more soundtrack-music than other music like pop, hiphop or Rnb.
Why the rating isn't excellent? Because the case of the CD wasn't in a good shape. But there were no other complains, so I gave it a good rating.

While the sound quality of the CD is great, the music itself is, well, lousy. Some of the selections (R. Kelly, Batman theme, instrumentals, etc) are great, but others are too head-banger / heavy-metal. What was not too noticeable in the movie is really noticeable and irritating on the CD. A majority of the soundtrack is pop / ?? with some highlights, and some real lows. Buy this one used - never new!

I really bought it for the U2 track, but love the PJ Harvey and Flaming Lips tunes as well. Basically wanted to replace my cassette of this soundtrack.

I bought batman forever original soundtrack 1995 because I like some songs that in that cd.Also it was cheap to buy from ebay. It was used cd but it is still in good condition.
