Beauty and the Beast (VHS, 1992)

The movie always keeps your interest in mind. Make's you feel like your part of the story. You wind up routing for the good guys and sometimes the bad guys, or character's in the movie. I have loved Beauty & The Beast since I first saw it and of course the theme song that goes along with it. I now have two princesses of my own that I wanted to share the story with and they have equally fallen in love with it. They watch it every day sometimes even twice. I will be getting them the movie on DVD soon but I wanted to see if they would like it like I did so I started them with the VHS.

my girls love the movie and watch it over and over and over again. i purchased this movie for my girls because it is my favorite Disney movie and when i introduced it to my girls they watch my copy until it was worn out.

i love this movie. it is a classic disney movie. the quality of the fil was great and it came with the original box! i love being able to share this great film with my young daughter.

I purchased this movie because I loved it and I wanted to share it with my children. I love this movie and some Disney movies are hard to find because they put it in the Disney vault. I am looking forward to having a movie night and sharing it with them. The music is amazing and artistry is phenominal.

Beauty and the Beast is a wonderful movie. How can you not like Beauty and the Beast. I guess I just love all the Disney movies.

I bought this movie for my 4-year old daughter who loves all the Disney princesses. This movie was also my favorite as a child and I like Belle the best because she is the only brunette princess out there. :>)

This movie is exactly what I would expect from Disney- quality animation, great music, it reflects somewhat traditional values, it contains a moral that is easy for even the youngest of children to understand AND it manages to entertain the adults in the audience, as well as the children (without adding anything too inappropriate for the children). I also like that the heroine, Belle, is portrayed as somewhat of an intellectual and that she demonstrates much respect for her father (even though many of the townsfolk think he is a crackpot). However, be aware that it does contain several rather intense scenes that could be scary for the younger ones. I would recommend screening first if your child is at all sensitive.

In his foolish youth a handsome prince turns away a beautiful enchantress disguised as a hag because of her appearance. To teach him a lesson- that true beauty lies within- she places a curse over him turning him into a "beast" that can only be lifted when he learns the true meaning of love and is able to earn the love of another despite his "beastly" appearance.

I decided to purchase this movie for my three year old because she loves the books about Belle and had never seen the movie. I like VHS because they are very durable, and I don't think it is even being sold right now because it is in the vault. So when this great deal came along to buy all three of the beauty and the beast movies I jumped right on it. They are wonderful, in great condition, almost new, and for a great price!

I love this movie, and can remember it as a kid. The only way to watch it would be on vhs just like the old days.

i love that i could purchase this item that isn't available in stores anymore. I really wanted this particular product because it is the original version and in vhs format. it was in pretty much perfect condition and very inexpensive.

VHS version of this movie is better than DVD due to added scenes, not a big fan of that. VHS was in mint condition, view on HDTV was good, very pleased with purchase of a VHS!

My kids love this movie, I bought it b/c our local high school did Beauty and the Beast as their High School Musical, and I wanted my 4 year old sons to watch the movie before we went to the play. A wonderful Disney classic!
