Love You Forever by Robert Munsch, Sheila McGraw (1986, Reinforced Hardcover)

This wonderful book, shows the never ending love of a parent, first through the mother, then through her son when he has a family of his own. Great for those parents who still call their children "baby", and the child can't understand why, when they're not a baby anymore.

Ever since the first time we read this book, my children have wanted it read to them at bedtime every night!!!!

If you can get through this dry-eyed, I'd be very surprised!

I love books in big book format because they make great read alouds and they are ideal in Special Education settings. This story is my favorite story as a teacher, mother, and child. Most children and adults can relate to this heart warming story. I own this story in standard format and I had to have it in Big Book format.

I love this book! I read it to my son when he was young (he is now 22 years old) and now I am reading it to my precious grand daughters. The end always brings tears to my eyes. *sniff
Every mother should read this to their child(ren). What love and devotion of a mother for her son, and that love and devotion to be returned years later. No matter if you have sons or daughters.... this is one of the best children's books you will ever read! I hope I have showed the kind of love to my children so that, that love will be returned someday.

Bought as a gift for my daughter to have for her classroom library. Her students will love it as much as she has since she was a little girl!

This story is about a mother's love for her child and in the end a son's love for his mother. I tear-up every time I read this...it's touching!

I love this book, it is a beautiful story. I bought it because I am a future teacher and I would definitely include this book in my class library. Reading it to children will help them understand that everyone grows old, but that the love of caregivers will never die.

I love this book because it shows unconditional love a Mother has for her son. He then repays the Mother, and realizes this love only after he has his own child.

I bought this book when my son was about 5. We have read it so many times. It is a family favorite. I am keeping it to give to him when he has children. It tells a wonderful story about a mothers love. I give it two thumds way up. I cannt ever make it through without feeling all fuzzy inside!!!!

I received Love You Forever as a babyshower gift two years ago. Every night before bed, I read it to my son. It is one of the best story books ever. Two of my friends, who are new parents, received a copy of Love You Forever, also. They also enjoy reading it to their children.

I rated this product very high since it was in excellent condition,packed well,and came very fast. The seller was very courtious also. I purchased this book for a little girl that I worked with at my school. Everytime that I came in to read with her, she always chose the same book,Love You For Ever.Since she came from a very poor family I decided to purchase this book for her. I am sure she will enjoy it for many years maybe forever.

I like that I'm giving it to my 24 year old son due to the message in the book. It made me cry. It is relevant for parents growing old and that are close to their son and want to show them how the table will someday turn. One day I took care of him; however, when I get old, he will be taking care of me. That is, I hope he will.

I love this book! I bought my first paperback when my first son was young. I cried just reading it in the store. All my children have benefited from this story. Even in college my daughter had me read this to her. My eldest daughter is now pregnant with her first child and has always wanted me to make a CD of me reading this story(because I sing the song the mother sings.)This seems like the appropriate time to do it.

I was a little disappointed because the book had writing in it on the cover page which was not stated in the description of the order. I got it as a gift and I had to use white out and a cover up. I like the book, it was just not a good as it needed to be.

This was a book my mother would read to me as a child. The book disapeared over time so i thought id buy her a new one for her birthday.

As a child my mother would read me this book for as long as i could remember. Then when we moved it got lost. SO for Mothers Day I sent her a copy. Needless to say she loved it.

I somehow acquired 2 of these books for my boys when they were young - it was my very favorite. I bought this for a baby shower gift (not the first time I have given it as a gift, either). When the 1st time mother-to-be looked at it, she cried. It is just simply the best.

This is absolutely the very best book for a small child. I have been reading this book to my grandson since he turned one and he is now 4, and we still read it. We are on our second copy. I would greatly recommend this book to anyone wanting a special reading time with their children. We even sing part of it.
