Very well written and edited with great illustrations. Too many of these books are either overly verbose/confusing or are full of blather from GREAT shooters who are NOT great communicators.

I've played strong pool for 40 years and was a math and physics major in college. Martin is easy to understand AND he actually knows what he's talking about.

BTW, Robt Byrnes stuff is good, too ...

I liked the cheap price that was offered when I purchased the book and was excited that it also came with expedited shipping. This was one of the major reasons why I believed it was a great buy. However, the book did not arrive in a fashionably early time but on the last day of which it was suppose to arrive to me.

I bought this book to improve my skill at the pool table. The book gave careful instructions on how to make shots, which did in fact improve my over all game. It, hovever, did not give the official rules for a game of "Streight Ball."
