9-11 by Noam Chomsky (2001, Paperback)

This was not an easy book for me to read. However, based on comments at the UN by several foreign leaders critical of the US, I thought it important that I do so. Also, in reading Orwell: The Betrayal of Dissent by Scott Lucas, I noted that Chomsky had indicated that Lucas had written an "important book." Chomsky's name coming up twice in one week and skyrocketing with a book on Amazon to 4th from some obscure position in the bottom of the barrel showed enough interest from the public that I took the plunge. I am in disagreement with Chomsky's position that America is out to dominate the world. I believe we live in the greatest country in the world and we have to fight like all get out to protect it from those who would attempt to destroy us. I hate any loss of life for our troops; I support our troops; and I wish we didn't have to make the sacrifice. However, I do believe we must and therefore, I disagree with the premise of the book. It is, however, well written.

Boy this guy is a real piece of work. His main job is to bore you with his psycho babal and double speak until you space out thinking of something else or fall asleep. His position is that 911 was caused and committed by 19 terrorists with box cutters, 7 of which have since turned up alive. As we all know the cover up of 911 and non investigation was carried out by our government and the media. And as most of you know 911 was an inside job carried out by a small group of americans and Israelis. Greed and power were the main motivators for this sick scheme.
The book is totally flawed by the linguistics experts inability to even consider inside job or cover up. When asked in a recent interview if he thought there was any credence to these conspiracy claims, he said "no, and even if it was caused by our government WHO CARES?"
When this guy fills a whole book with theory based on false information all the theories become pure idiotic fantasy. His previous works now becomes suspect, as he proves with "9-11" that he is either lying though his teeth, or so moronic as to be unable to think logically. Resulting in whole books which go nowhere.
So if you're interested in reading a fantasy wrapped in a lie promoted as non fiction, then by all means proudly put this one up on the shelf with the 911 commission report and snow white and the seven dwarfs.
Sorry Noam, you suck and you've been outed as a Zionist denier. For a well researched and factual account of 911 try "Painful deceptions" compare its hard cold facts to Chomskys rambling thoughts and opinions, decide for yourself which better represents the reality of the situation.
