This movie is one of the most beautiful "mature" movies that you could every find. For someone who enjoys romance, exotic erotica, and their fantasies fulfilled, but is not into the smut that many movies portray...this is the movie for you.

At the same time...the Cinematography is OUTSTANDING!!! Plays with lighting, shadows, colors, camera angles...it all comes together in a very beautiful movie!

WOW! This is quite exciting; you'll love it or hate it!

Basinger is ALWAYS hot, and if Rourke is your cup-of-tea, you'll really enjoy this one!

Super hot, I suspect it's gotta be a female-favorite, AND it's not quite as raw as Unfaithful.

See it with the one you love :-)

  sweetly kinky, but disturbing too
Review created: 04/16/08

I enjoyed this, at least the control and kinky parts... but the characters did, as one reviewer noted, lack depth. This is key, if you'd like to get into a movie like this, deeper than the kink. For me, the insight offered by Mickey's character "John" was given "too little, too late" to turn me on to him.

My problem with Kim's character is that we don't really feel her either... at her job, or with her man. Perhaps that's why she has difficulty connecting!

Mickey is NO James Spader "The Secretary," but his quiet grace is very attractive.

I enjoyed the movie, but wish it could've offered more.
