I bought this game expecting an Xbox version of HotShots Golf and I was pretty much right but the controls for the swing involve the joystick instead of a press-to-stop gauge at the bottom of the screen which takes some getting used to. Other than that, I see no major flaws in the gameplay. It is a simple but effective cartoon-style golf game with some mini-games too like golf-cart racing and the ability to beat up your caddy.

I just find this game to be fun alternative to your usual sports games. If you just want something to play with a group of friends and not really worried about super great mechanics for a sports game.

) my husband is NOT a gamer, far from it but he likes the golf games on dish and we aquired an xbox so i got outlaw golf for him. He not only picked up on it very fast he is totally hooked! VERY PLAYER FRIENDLY AND A LAUGH RIOT GREAT GAME

gR8 OLDSKOOL gAMEThis challenging game is slightly more difficult than newer golf games. Despite it's title, it is a fun game to play with lots of repeat value. There are "cheats" available online that make game play more fun. Although it is not playable on the XBOX360, according to Microsoft's site, all xbox games will be playable on the 360 eventually.(with a "free" console upgrade in the form of a download(update)
