88 Minutes (Blu-ray Disc, 2008)

Set in the city of Seattle, 88 Minutes stars Al Pacino (Scarface & Many more) as a college professor who is also an FBI criminal psychiatrist.

The movie starts out with the introduction of the serial killer (Neal McDonough) that Dr. Jack Gramm (Al Pacino) put away with his testimony. The story evolves from there with Gramm receiving a death threat, and the rest of the movie is Gramm having to piece together the pieces in '88 Minutes' to save his live.

The movie was rather predictable, however Pacino is such a good actor that he made it all enjoyable.

I recommend this movie to any Pacino fan and to anyone who likes a good movie with twists in it.

Al Pacino is one of those few actors whose career is so decorated and quality that you literally would see the biggest piece of crap in the world just to see what he would do in it. Over the years I've watched boring (Simone), long and preachy (Angels in America), and just bad (Two For the Money) movies primarily because he's, well, Al Pacino. He embodies greatness and respectability, even in crap, and so I keep going back. 88 Minutes is not crap though, its just amateur night at the script-o-rama.

Great movie! If you're into a mystery when somebody is trying to find out who's behind it and they have a limited time, you'll like this movie. If watching it on Blu-ray, especially in 1080p, the picture is awesome.

This is an attention holding movie. Al Pacino is a dynamic actor and shows that in this movie.

I could not take my eyes off it and almost missed an important appointment. I am going to watch it again just to see if I can put the movie on hold to answer the phone or go to the bathroom (smile).

All as expected. Great seller. Email is making me put in 100 characters just to submit a review. All in all, I will buy from this seller in the future.

The no. reason why I bought this movie is that it was played by Al Pacino. He is the best for me. I also was surprise of the plot of the story cause it keeps you guessing till the end. Plus I was very satisfied dealing with "adultdvdz" very professional ebayer.
