Movie Description
The freshman season of 8 SIMPLE RULES revolved around the notion of television veterans John Ritter and Katey Sagal trading in the risqué comedy of THREE'S COMEDY and MARRIED WITH CHILDREN for family-friendly humor about an overly protective father’s aversion to his daughters’ dating habits. Now, at the start of its second season, a lighthearted sitcom must come to terms with death. After the tragic real-life passing of Ritter results in the sudden and unexpected death of his character, Paul Hennessy, much of Season Two deals with Cate Hennessy (Sagal) and her three children’s attempts to move on. Soon enough, their house is once again filled with laughs when lovable grandpa Jim (James Garner) and wily cousin C.J. (David Spade) move in. This set includes all 24 episodes of 8 SIMPLE RULES’s heartfelt and hilarious second season.
