Great book for getting and staying fit

I first bought Jorge Cruise's 8 Minutes in the Morning (2001). I thought the exercises were great (you do need dumbbells), but the eating program was way too restrictive. Then I found this edition--it's great! You don't need any special equipment or dumbbells, and the eating plan is super easy and satisfying. You eat every three hours (two snacks during the day, anything you want up to 100 calories each), and regular meals are balanced and nutritious. I actually use the exercises from the older edition and the eating plan from this edition, but I used the motivational helps from both books. It helps you analyze and stop emotional eating. This is something that I think I can stick with for life; it takes very little time for the exercises (although truth be told, it is a little more than 8 minutes, more like 12 to 15 with warm-up and cool-down), and the regular eating schedule keeps you from getting ravenous between meals.

I am following the exercises in the morning and they seem to be working, they are easy to do. If I was following the menu I am sure that I would be losing more weight.

Each chapter has great inspirational messages.
I decided to buy this book, to help in getting started exercising and losing weight.
And, it is very easy to begin.
Some of the exercises I have learned I hope to continue for life. Just making it a good habit to wake up and do the exercises.
