8 Mile (DVD, 2003, Full Frame; Censored Bonus Materials)

I am familiar with Eminem and his music. I like some of it - but am not a big fan, so I was not expecting a lot from this movie. But...it was good. The story is of Marshal Mathers'(Eminem's)life from his years back at home. A very well told story and he's a good actor too. Try this one out - you'll be surprised.

I wouldn't say its the BEST film but i just had to add it to my collection since im a EMINEM fan. Not one of the BEST movies ive seen. Just an OK film to watch.

it good in some ways and not good in other ways. the sex scenes in it could been left out. else it would been a good movie.

Caught a few minutes of this film while waiting for a friend and liked what I saw enough to purchase the DVD. While this picture won't win any awards it does deliver solid entertainment for the money. Eminem's raw energy comes across vividly throughout the movie, his "take on the world & forget the pain" attitued captivates, and his domestic struggles allow the viewer to invest in his character. Simoltaniously one is afforded a glimpse into the trailerparks, unsafe streets, and underground night spots of Chi-town's hip-hop scene. Well directed, well cast, and well acted, this movie while never trying to be pretentous delivers solid entertainment.

This is a great movie that is very simial to Eminem's (Marshall Mathers) real life. They ad lib to parts of his life. It has good acting in it. The music is great and the rap battles are intense. The extra's on the DVD have a lot to offer. I love this movie and would recommend it to anyone.

I bought the movie 8 Mile because my husband and I like the movie and he wanted it soI bought it for him. It was in good shape and did not skip.

excellent movie about someone trying to accomplish his goal in life and does.
everyone tries to make something for themselves but he did it no matter what it cost him,if you never seen this movie buy it ,rent it ,but i feel its a must see movie

I never got to see the movie when it came out. I love the fact that I can find old movies on ebay. The movie was in it's original package, and it was in good condition.
