love the grafic like watching tv. Just the right size. Like that the games have a disk cover so they wont get scratched up. Would recomend for all ages my five year tries to steal it from her brother. Excellent product. Only down fall new games are very expensive.

It was not the generation I ordered. I ordered it thinking it was a 2000, and it was a 1001. I don't really care so much, considering that I wanted a 1001 (but had a hard time finding one), but it is not good to list the wrong item number. Some people are looking for specific things due to modability, software compatibility, and so on.

I love that fact it was reasonable priced and great value..I decided to buy it because i needed a new one but didnt want to spend too much on a used one or broken one

The seller did not send by the date promised and I had to contact him more then once about this issue. The power cord was not included like advertised and the computer cord did not work. ?The psp was dead on arival and I needed to buy a power cord to use it. I would NOT do buisnees with this seller again.

This was my very first ebay purchase and I must say I am very impressed. The time it took to receive the PSP was outstanding and since this was an early Christmas gift to my fiance he's checked it out and just adores it. I love everything about the PSP

First off, a disclaimer: I am no gamer. Certainly, I've played a few, but this was bought for my Wifey, so I'm picking her brains right now. Also, I've done some snooping to see for myself and made some observations.

I thought the unit was a bit on the large size. I had no idea it didn't fit into the palm of one hand. Wifey straightened me out by saying it felt good in her grip; controls were spaced well and accessible. The Piano Black is a nice change from those drab, plastic looking game consoles of recent past and back beyond. Both Wifey and I are just blown away over the quality of the media on the screen. It's a nice size that most people won't have to strain their eyes to see. As for the software part of it, all I can say is "how can you go wrong with a game, photo, mp3, movie player and wifi web browser?" Admittedly, we haven't tried them all out yet. We both agree that the sound out of the speaker is not loud enough. It's ok for quiet places, but anything louder than a library will overshadow the sound. I'm sure a good pair of earbuds would be beneficial. We don't have a good pair yet, but will acquire shortly.

I understand the need for change, but I honestly don't know why Sony chose to come out with a different unit - this one's really worth a look see for most everyone's taste, in my opinion. Hope this helps someone!
