I loved this movie from the first time i saw it. With an all star cast and the best sport in human history for the basis of the movie u can't go wrong and now you can see the blood spill in high definition with the blue ray version.Very cool movie

) I am reviewing the Blu Ray version of this movie. The movie by itself is a awesome tail of betrayal, revenge and the Hero overcoming adversity. I have read reviews about the Blu-Ray version saying that the movie wasn't as good of quality that they expected from 1080 resolution. I beg to differ. Hi-def is always the way to go, not only is the picture and contrast more crisp but the sound is un-matched from its dvd format. On top of all this, the bonus features are great and the fact that this is a director's cut I noticed new scenes that I have never seen before. Scenes that should have never been cut, they really add depth to Ceasar's sinical behavior and mentallity. I am glad i purchased this and would reccomend it for anyone who has it on dvd and wants to upgrade. Hopefully this will help you.
