Collective Soul (Rabbit) is one of the best!!!

The new Collective Soul album is so amazing. From the rockin Welcome All Again to the soft yet amazing vocals of Hymn for my father the entire album is Amazing. This album brings back the rocking of Heavy and Where the River Flows from earlier albums yet adds a huge variety into it with the softness of Staring Down, Love and Hymn For My Father. Dig is defiantly one of My favorite songs of this album the rock of it and the sick guitar, with the catchyness of it make me so happy. Wile other bands songs get boring None of Collective Soul's songs do. I can and will listen to this album over and over along with all the other amazing albums form the best band ever!!

Great Return To Rock Roots From One of Alt. Rocks Best
Review created: 01/09/10(updated 01/09/10)

This album also known as "Rabbit" is very balanced and brings Collective Soul back to its rock n roll roots. Their previous two works "Afterwords and Youth" showed more of a pop sounding for adult radio stations. This album gets back to where they started from. It is full of just great rock tunes with no filler. If you have liked Collective Soul since their inception then you will be pleased to know that they have returned to form with Rabbit.

  Signed Collective Soul CD
Review created: 11/02/09(updated 11/04/09)

Collective Soul plays the music that touches my soul. I was fortunate enough to attend their live concert where I was able to purchase their latest CD before it was officially released. I think the only thing that could be better than hearing them play would be to have some form of closer contact with them. Their music has helped me get through so many trying times and helped me enjoy so many good times. Finding this autographed cover to the latest CD helps me take a good year to a great year!!

From a music standpoint (I purchased the jacket only), their latest CD is in my opinion one of their best. The current bandmembers seem to have come together nicely. This 2nd self-titled CD makes me feel that the band has come full circle, returning in a way to their older sounds while at the same time having matured and taking those sounds to a higher level. This CD will remind you of their 1st self-titled album. At the end of the CD, Ed Roland recorded a hymn he wrote to his father who passed away a couple years ago. This hymn will move anyone. I can't recommend this CD enough.

A band that doesn't seem to age
Review created: 09/30/09

This new release by Collective Soul, although made up of all new songs, reminds a lot the band that they always were. Nothing really changed - the same alternative, almost grunge, college rock touch that play radio and bar friendly songs and captured the minds and hearts of hundreds of thousands of young adults almost anywhere. Lyrics of youth angst, agony and self-reflection, mixed with some heartfelt moments are all this album is about. Long-time fans will certainly recognize the traces of their early works. New fans will not be disappointed by what this album shows.
