This is about 5 times better than I thought it would be. The first game was a great idea, but the actual game turned out to be a bit of a dud. It had lots of good elements but some truly bad controls and some horrible design issues. This game takes everything good about the first, improves on it, and throws away all of the bad stuff. Not to mention that this next gen treat looks downright amazing. Don't let your experience with the first game deter you. This is the game Juarez 1 should have been.

If you like westerns you will love this game. It was excellent. It had a good story line and you felt like you were really part of it.
PROS-The scenery was great
The sound effects were great
You had a good selection of different weapons
The dialogue was great except for some rough language at times
It was easy to ride a horse, not like in some other games
The game lasted long enough to make it worth the price
CONS-The only thing I didn't like about the game was that, if you don't have an HDTV it was really hard to read the dialogue or any clues that showed up on the screen.
It took me awhile to learn the quick draw but after I got the hang of it, it was really cool. I also enjoyed the side quests you could do to earn money to buy better weapons.
I highly recommend this game to anyone but there is some pretty rough language at times. Not really suitable for youngsters.

I'm not usually a fan of the western genre, but I thought I would give this a try. The story mode (single player) is a lot of fun and has a decent plot. You can choose between Thomas McCall or Ray McCall on most of the missions (some require you to use a certain character). I played through the game as Thomas (completion time: 6h 42m), but had no desire to give it another play-through as Ray. The game just didn't have much replay value for me. The multiplayer is decent, but nothing more. It held my attention for about 30 minutes, while I tried to adapt to a new experience (it's much slower than most shooters).

Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend this game. It's worth playing through at least once.

I liked the style of the game, and the price it was being sold for. It was to expensive in stores, and you had to spend the money in gas to get to them on top of the price of the game. The game was shipped fast, and was in excellent condition. I was very satisfied with the seller, and how easy ebay makes it to buy what you want.

Standard FPS, nothing really stands out about the game play. Almost seems like a made over COD.

An alright game if you buy it cheap or used. Not worth $50+ new.

This game is great. It is not to easy but you are not pulling your hair out to get through it. Language is strong so keep it away from the kids under 18.

I really enjoyed this game. It has a lot of different types of game elements all throughout the story. One minute you are escorting someone and the next you are dueling with the local gangster. The single player campaign is really fun and entertaining. The graphics are fantastic and the sound is great too. The one thing that bugged me the most about the game is the lack of co-op mode. The whole game you play as either Ray or Thomas. When you choose one person the computer takes over the other. This type of gameplay is just screaming a co-op mode. If you like westerns and you like fps then this game is for you.

Ordered and paid six weeks ago and still haven't received the game I bought. I got the first Call of Juarez, which I already have and is half the price. After I notified "Videogame Buddy" I was informed that it would be corrected be sending the correct game. A few days later I received notice the correct game had been shipped without a tracking number. I am still waiting. I have emailed three times asking for tracking number and have received no reply. So good luck...

Got these game for my brother as a b-day gift. He says is a good game and he likes playing it online.

i bid and won what i thought was a game and it tutned out to be a code which was useless to me since i don't have the game. tried to get a refund which seller denied

After playing all the WW2 FPS and Halo and all the others, playing one in the old west was different and enjoyable. fun game give it a try
