Garmin StreetPilot 7200 Car GPS Receiver

The ease of use of streetpilot + the accuracy of Garmin + a Huge 7 inch touchscreen + all the other extras = Simply the best Gps i've ever use.

We use these units in our trucks. They are amazing. They do direction and will broadcast over the radio speakers in the truck. you can also upload routes before the driver leaves the store.

I bought the Garmin 7200 GPS because my brother had a garmin gps and seemed to be very satisfied with its performance . I had a lowrance Iway 500 gps and while satisfied , I had some complaints. When I first got the Lowrance , I tried to find several addresses that I thought would be easy to find,the Lowrance failed several times when the Garmin of my brothers didn't. I took that to mean better performance. Ever since that , I wanted to have a Garmin of my own . I now own both a Garmin 7200 and a Lowrance IWay 600 .Both of them have features that I like but if I had to choose just one, I would go with the Garmin. Since owning a gps, I have come to depend on it. I think it should be a required accessory on every new car. Not necessarily the in dash kind , portables would do just fine. Cheaper too.

I drive a 40 foot Prevost motorhome. This 7200 is much easier to see and to work with !! Garmin makes a wonderful product, but if you drive a large vehicle this is the only one to buy. Human interface is wonderful and the huge display is superior. I bought a factory rebuilt unit and the single short coming is the length of the power cord. I bought an extension and now the unit is complete.

I bought this unit for my son. I own two more identical ones for a few years. It is geared for larger vehicles, but with an aftemarket suction cup windshield mount can be used in almost any car without blocking the view. More details on map than the smaller screens, also shows speed, expected trip arrival time and other details. Unfortunately discontinued, still enough available as "new". It has multimedia connections (I hooked up a rear-view camera to it). Satellite radio (subscription and antenna needed), but you may need an adapter to the stereo if the aerial is far from the unit (FM signal weak). Map updates probably the same as others. I bought a map of Taiwan on an SD card, navigable straight from the card for my son. The US maps are great.
Lots of other features. Current prices are great.

Just received it this week, still working with finding all the tricks. Love it so far, great screen for traveling.... as my eye sight isnt what it use to be. Really easy to navigate, Garmin really thinks about the consumer when designing their products. Hope you enjoy yours as much as mine.

We already own one but want't another. They are so easy to use and big enough to see without having to spend so much time looking. Best GPS on the market.

I put this gps in my truck. It's size allowed me to mount it down in the lower dash/cup holder area. I had already had one stolen because it was in the windshield and very visible in my mega cab. I'd recommend mounting this one lower due to its large and very bright display screen. Mounting this one on the dash would be a huge driving hazard. The features are incredible. Weather, traffic, music, and navigation all work for me very well. I travel a lot to other parts of the country and need to know what the traffic is in an area up ahead. The XM antenna is a bit pricey but functions very well. The set up is like the smaller garmins in that it uses a plug in power cord and detachable mount. It doesnt have a battery so has to be plugged in to work and it's large size does not make it suitable for a smaller car. I had to hard mount the base down low on a flat area in my truck and would like just a tiny bit more tilt ability. All in all I love this product and the features it comes with. I especially like its size and the fact that I only have to glance down at the screen due to its easy readability. If you have an RV or large truck I'd recommend this product easily.

THE THING THAT I LOVE ABOUT THIS ITEM IS THAT IT HAS NAVIGATION, STOCKS, WEATHER, SATELITE RADIO, AND MUCH MORE ALL IN ONE. IT IS WORTH EVERY DIME. MY HUSBAND ALREADY HAS ONE AND THIS IS OUR SECOND ONE, HE DELIVERES CAR PARTS FOR A LIVING AND ITS PERFECT AND BIG.

My husband has wanted one of these since they first came out. I was against it because of the large size as we do not have a motor home. We ended up purchasing a smaller Garmin model. This summer the touch screen started acting up, and of course my husband got on eBay and found the Garmin 7200 for an excellent price. I was still skeptical of the size, but I did appreciate the big screen visibility and ease of use (both the touch screen and remote.) As to the size restriction...I have found it to be very useable in both our Ford F350 Super Duty truck and our GMC Acadia. My husband enjoys the fact that he can glance over and see the screen without taking a lot of attention off the road.
The only negative thing that I can think of is that the picture on the screen is not quite a clear as on the smaller screen GPS, but this has not really hurt the viewing. Over all, we love it.

The size of the screen is fanastic!! We are using it in our 1 ton dually, and we were concerned it might be tooooo big, but it fits nicely in our cupholder and we can read it without wearing our bifocals. What a plus when traveling 60mph. All of the maps are current with our newest local streets readily available. When typing in street names, the 7200 anticipates the street name and pops it up, eliminating the need to type in the whole street name. The text to speech is very clear and audible. Overall, we are very satisfied, and we have only begun to explore all of the available options.

The unit is first class. Work great and is very large. Great for large vehicles. I have not activated available option like XM and Traffic. Don't know that I will. I love the unit just as it is. This unit replaced a much smaller screened unit I had, and what a differience

Everything good. Can't think of anything that I would change.
Now that I've said that, I'm just trying to get to the 100 character minimum.

So far so good with this GPS. I absolutely love the size and clarity of the 7" screen. You can definitely see where you are going and hear it too. I would recommend this to anyone from what I can tell so far. I haven't used it a whole lot as of yet.

Replacing my husband's current GPS that he currently used daily for over 3 years. It was a Garmin and he wanted to stick with Garmin for the new GPS.
