In a world of working mothers, this book contains wonderful encouragement to those women who are selfless enough to stay at home and raise their own children. My wife, a highly educated proffesional, was often discouraged by off hand remarks about her staying home. After reading this book, it helped her realize - what she already knew - that it is the right thing to do.
This book does not hold old fashioned ideas about women or is religious in any way, it simply discusses the joys of raising your own child instead of letting strangers at a day care do it.
I recommend it for any expected mother or current mother who is currently staying at home or is thinking about it!
