iRobot Scooba 380 Robotic Cleaner

It cleans well but you really have to watch where he goes. Sometimes he gets stuck in a mode and goes over the same spots again and again. With a little watching now and then, the job gets done. Pricey little gadget. I hope in the long run it will be worth it. Good for in-between floor cleaning. A good manual scrubbing is always better than a gadget but I'm going to use it for our tile. I think it does better on tile than linoleum floors.

well my cousin in the UK told me about this type of robot. i did the first trial run today after charging it overnight ( didn't hav any problems charging it with the converter since i reside in India ). this robot is simply amazing. does the cleaning job quite well. i have also ordered the roomba 610 so both would keep my house clean. the only problem i have is maintaining the robot and the availabity of the recommended clorox solution. it almost does an accurate job and removes the need of having a maid mopping your floors. the battery life is excellent and my house was clean in 70 mins and the battery still had more life left in it. good for washing bathrooms as well. don't think twice on buying this robot but also buy the roomba series as that is better in picking up debris thanks to their bins.

Pros: Yes, the Scooba really cleans and cleans good. This is a nice thing to leave it working and walk away. You come back and find your floor already clean. The cleaning solution sold (overpriced) was easily replaced with the one we had at home and got the same results.

Cons: The navigation part is really stupid. If you think it will go through the rooms cleanin them one by one - you wrong. It will clean one room, going to the same place over and over. This thing doesn't have any smart navigation, it just running between bumps, going back and fourth, leaving spots or mistakenly go away from the room. It will easily get stuck in the bathroom being unable to get out by himself.

Finally I am using the Scooba to clean the living room only and I have good results. I am using two walls to limit the area to the living room. This is still a gadget that is unable to replace the old good manual floor wash.
