NBA Live 09 (PlayStation 2, 2008)

For a PS2 game, I think it's one of the weaker NBA Live games. I think the NBA live 05 and 06 series were a lot more well developed and fun. I do believe though that it is because I am still stuck with a PS2 and need to upgrade because all other previous systems will not get the same amount of attention put into the latest consoles.

I bought this for my grandson for Christmas. He loves it, although I don't know much about the game myself

This game is about the same as every other Live game for the ps2. Be a pro mode is kinda disappointing, but the FIBA World Championships is kinda cool. (GO SERBIA!) The only really bad thing is that the game goes really slow unless you put the speed up to 70 or 75, and the rosters arent already updated. (Artest still on the Kings! WTF?) Other than that, solid basketball game for the ps2. If you're a Live fan, youll like it, if not, get NBA 2K9. Im a Live fan, therefore I like it.

I bought this game used for my boyfriend and he loved it! I play very well and the graphic are nice. I dont know much about video games but I even played this one myself.

it loads very quickly

I love the updated rosters on NBA Live 09, however, since it's on the old school PS2, it takes foreverrrrrrr to load, which gets a bit aggravating sometimes. Other than that, I love the game itself.

I bought the NewPhone 74205 three weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. It has a 1M-pixel camera, video camera, and speakerphone. The NewPhone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours. My only complaint is that the menu system on the phone makes you click four times before you can find someone in the address book, set an alarm, or perform a additional functions. Other phones I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.

I heard mixed reviews of the '09 edition of the line of NBA Live games but must say I am very impressed. I purchased this alongside the better rated NBA 2k9 and would actually call it a tie.
The gameplay - while yes, very much different - is superb. It just takes some getting used to but once in the flow of the game runs smootly. Everything 2k9 lacked this game has and vice versa.
The graphics (PS2)were poor considering nothings really changed since Live 07 graphicwise, but gameplay wise they packed alot of new features into this game that make it that much more fun to play.

I like the new thing yo gan do like be a pro and all the franchise play. What i dont like is the 2 player game kobe is on stopeble on the court and can make about any shot he wan to. But overall the game is allmost the say gameplay wise its just some mor dunks and steals

This game is perfect for sports fans outer, who really like the game of basketball. The graphics are great on this game and the game itself is great to play. The best part that it is a two player game which in turn you can play with each other or against each other the choice is yours.

Quick and easy. Great delivery. Would do business again. Was a gift - haven't heard back from the kid so it must all be working!

My son really likes this game. He likes it because he can create his own roster. It's fast paced. He got it for Chirstmas. He likes the competition and being able to create all pro players he already follows in to sports.

It's a lot of fun. I enjoy playing. Marv Albert and Steve Kerr are the announcers, which is cool. I'm hoping I can play online with it. That's why I got it, so I hope it works. Fun game though.

Hi,I decided to buy this item because my kids wanted the game and I won the bid at a good price. I paid for this item immediately after I won the bid and I never got the item from the seller.I've sent various emails and tried to contact the seller but I get no response at all. All of a sudden the member that sold me this item isn't a registered member and by looking at their feedbacks I see that I'm not the only one that they ripped off within the last month. I should be able to get a refund back for this item and people like this shouldn't be able to business on ebay.

I love the graphic and the gameplay. More feature than the previous NBA Live. Evethough the rooster is not update it's still a great game.
