Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (Xbox, 2003)

I hate Xbox, I'll be honest, but this game is well worth it. I have sat down with this game and become absorbed in it immediately. The controls are not too difficult to master in a short period of time, and for once the Xbox controller doesn't feel awkward to use. I don't really have much more to say as I'm not a reviewer. If you want to know more about the game, visit IGN or something :) It's a good game, well worth the purchase, and it has the added bonus of the first two *original* games as unlockable features.

I played a friend's copy a couple of years ago, first on the Game cube, and later on the X-box. This game is a classic. I don't know of any others like it. It has beautiful graphics, unique, puzzle-solving gameplay, swashbuckling adventure, and an intriguing storyline. On top of that, the middle-eastern music draws you in to the mythical magic of ancient Persia.

While it's sequels may have better puzzles and gameplay, they also get gorier and more sensual. (That might be a plus for some). Of the Prince of Persia trilogy, this is definitely my favorite!

Prince of Persia: Sands of Time is a very good action adventure game. Much of the game centers around the movements of the character which are very original and unlike most other video games in this genre. Climbing, jumping, running, and swinging motions are all big parts of this game. The combat scenes are less frequent than many games in this genre. If fighting is "your thing" than you migh stay away from the original Prince of Persia: Sands of Time and try the sequal Prince of Persia: Warrior Within. The graphics are excellent and the music very good, adding to the quality of the game. If you are more of a RPG enthusiast, Sands of Time is likely not for you. Overall, a very good action/adventure game and worth the money to try since it has been out for a few years... which reminds me it has aged well. It was ahead of its time.

Loved every bit of it. Awesome Story-line. Easy controls. Good Graphics.
The only thing I disliked was, I wish it was a longer game. But only because it was so much fun. Lots of moves and puzzle-live environments. Time-control was genious.

In fact, virtually nothing will bar you from being impressed by this extremely well-put-together action adventure game from the studio that brought you Splinter Cell and Rainbow Six 3. In stark contrast to Ubisoft Montreal's previous offerings, Prince of Persia is surprisingly easy, despite the incredible acts of skill and daring that the game's main character will routinely perform during the course of the game. As a result, this original, visually stunning game can be highly recommended to just about anyone.

Considering the fact that this game is several years old now, I am still astounded by the amazing graphics. The physics engine is amazing, and the "rewind" feature of the game is simply breath taking. Highly reccommended if you like action/adventure games.

This was a killer game. was a awsome exprirence in gameing, great graphics and game play . it was very challenging not so easy as some game you finish in one day, you gey you moneys worth of play!

I rather enjoy this game. Very good moves and great graphics. The story line is a little weak for me but obviously so many enjoy it you might too.

The Prince of Persia Games are the best games for a single player experience. Working with both the old Xbox and the new 360. Having such a gamer experience makes you want to have all of them!

Great product. This one beats all the odds of the old 16 bit PC game. This is far superior and the difficulty increases as you advance in the game.
The best game i've played till now. I dont mind saying that even though i crossed 28, i love this all the more. I am eagerly waiting for the Nov 2008 release of the third version.

Great game. A bit repetitive, but downright witty and fun. Probably the best in the series. Be dazzled with gently glowing levels and constant snarky comments from the main charactor.

Well I bought all three for x-box and this one got the story and fundamental gameplay down for me, but seemed a little easy and too simple.

This product has met my expectations. Originaly I became interested in The Prince of Persia series because of the graphics on the newer games released and wanted to catch up with the story line. I have enjoyed playing this game and it gives me a chance to save my progress often, allowing me to get a good nights rest. I look forward to the other 2 Prince of Persia games already purchased through ebay as well.

This game has excellent graphics! Challenging fights...wicked sick complex movements. Undeniably, the best role-playing game i've ever played. The only downfall i can see is the fact that you are made to watch the cut-scenes even if you are re-playing the fight/level. Other than that....the best ever.

This is the best action game I have ever played in many ways. Its smart, trippy, and made so well. If you enjoy a relaxing, mid-paced game with alot of puzzles to solve and things to find then this is the one for you. Great innovative character movement and beautiful graphics. One of the top 10 xbox games for sure.
