A Great Abridgement!!!!
I really liked this one. I like all of the novels I have read in the alphabet series so far, but some are better than others. A lot of times I prefer the unabridged versions of stories, but the abridgements are good are mostly leave out the tedious long descriptions of every facial feature or bush in the current landscape. The important elements of the story are included.
This one does start off a little slow, but once you get into it, the plot and characters start to take shape and it really holds your interest. If you have never read Sue Grafton before, this is definitely one you can start off with. I often get into new authors with abridged audiobooks to see if I am interested in their style, etc. And this would be a good one to do that with.
