I couldn't decide between the PS2 and the Wii version, but I went with the PS2 because it allows you to use the guitar hero controllers as well, which the wii version does not.

Although the PS2 version lacks a few features of the 360 and PS3 versions, the gameplay is still solid. Rock Band is a great game for parties.

I already had Guitar Hero III, so I wanted the drums as well. I have a PS2 & it was very difficult for me to find this for my system. I could use some straps for the guitars, but other than figuring out the trick to playing with the mic, everything else was very quick and easy to set up. To use the mic you have to plug in a regular controller to navigate the mic.

This is truly a wonderful game that won't get used for a month and then end up collecting dust, like many other games out there. My 16-year old daughter loved it and played it at her friend's house all the time, so I bought it for all 5 of our girls (ages 7, 10,11,12, and 16). All of them love it and play it regulary. It was harder for the seven-year old, but she even had fun with the singing part of it. I even love it. My husband and I were playing right along with the kids also. It is great for adults at parties and it definitely keeps the kids busy. If you are looking for a game that will grab everyone's attention and keep it, this is it. It also really teaches and improves hand eye coordination and concentration skills in a big way. This is the best gift I have ever gotten for my kids.

I love this game. My son introduced me to Guitar Hero when it first came out. I then bought the Guitar Hero bundle and gave one guitar to my son(Who had made it a habit each day to go to Best Buy and play for hours on the demo in store.). All he need do was to purchase the game disc for himself. We would get together and rock out for hours. Then when Rockband came out my son purchased it and he(on drums), my grand-daughter(guitar),his girlfriend(vocals) and I(guitar/bass) would all rock out together having the greatest family fun. Well the Rockband set was my son's at my son' house leaving me no time to practice the drums and vocals. So I had to get one for myself. Plus now when the other grands visit we have a great time together as a family. And along with all this fun you are learning how to actually play these instruments. You can play for hours and not get bored. It's challenging and works your motor skills. Easy to set up and quick and fast to learn. And totally addicting. Want something fun for the whole family to play regardless of age? This is it.

First, I'm very happy with the product I received. It came exactly as described. However, it took longer than the three days I was promised. When I started getting worried about it, I wrote to the seller and waited long before any response. Once the seller got back with me he said it should be there. It never came and I sent more emails. Finally, advised me he sent it to wrong address. I received it about 3 weeks after the purchase. If he would have communicated with me during the whole process, I would have felt much more at ease. I understand mistakes happen, an email would have done the trick and I would have gave him excellent!

We love the Rock Band package that I purchased for my kids for Christmas. Although me and my husband kind of love it more than them! LOL! (Kids at Heart)

This game is awesome! Any age can play it so it makes a great gift for kids and adults alike. You also don't have to have any musical talent to play it. You might think it sounds like a dumb game but it's addicting. It makes a great way to unwind because you can't think about other things when you're playing.

In december of 2008 I had decided to buy Rock Band for my son. Wow what a wonderful idea it was. This product brought much happiness to our family, more family time and lots of fun. If there is a downfall to this product I do not know what it would be. My 8 year old son absolutely loves it. I love it as a parent for it gives him eye hand coordination along with challenges. I love that it has 4 levels to challenge him with. He can play himself or we all just rock out together. This was definately a wonderful choice for our family.

I liked the game very much, it was in very good condition. I decided to buy this item because it seemed like a very fun game to play with friends.

I bought this for my four kids and all of them have had a blast with it. They range from 7 to 15 years old and will all play together. We also have Guitar Hero so we have 2 guitars which allows all 4 to play at once. I was really suprised that they used the mic for singing, I thought that the mic would never get used but I was wrong. I even have jumped in and played with them. Great fun for us all.

I bought this because I went to my sister's a couple of weeks ago and played hers for the first time. I loved it and just had to have it. It not only teaches you concentration skills, it is so much fun. You get to change the instrument you want to play, so you don't have to keep doing the same thing. Continuous hours of enjoyment. The only thing I don't like about it, is that I have to sleep and can't play it all the time.

I got this for my sister as a Christmas gift for my nephew. I haven't heard anything negative so I would assume everything was ok.

Like new! We tried to find a new one, but were unable since the product has been discontinued. Didn't know what to expect buying used, but product was packaged and looked like new, and everything works great!

Quick to fix the problem. I sent email explainig that the green drum pad needed replaced. They were timely in their response & replacing the sensor. You ROCK !
