Game Party (Wii, 2007)

Darts - once you get the hang of it, which doesn't really take that long, it's fun. Especially nice is the fact that up to four players can compete in this game at once. Custom darts/boards are unlockable.

Hoop Shoot - this can get tiring, but is fun for quick competitions between friends. Getting the ball to stay straight can be a little bit of a challenge at times.

Skill Ball - aka Skee ball - is fun. The controls are pretty much the same as Wii bowling, and the only thing you need to watch out for is throwing too hard. Also, this only has a one player mode, but you can easily just select "play again" at the end and pass the remote to a friend.

Shuffleboard - this is not what you're thinking. This is the tabletop version. Controlling the direction that the puck goes in can be a bit sporadic. Perhaps most frustrating here is that in one player mode, the computer will always, and I mean always, get the second turn, allowing them that last chance to knock your pucks out and score the win. Oh, and you can unlock curling if you get enough tickets.

Air hockey - the controls for this are similar to real air hockey, which means you hold the Wiimote parallel to the floor and actually push it left/right and forward/backward to control your player's hand. It's a little easy to score on yourself until you really get the hang of it, but it's a fun game to play in two player.

Ping cup - aka beer pong - frustrating to no end. The controls seem incredibly sporadic on this, and I still have not been able to clear the table before getting irritated to the point of quitting. If this is the only reason you plan on buying this game, be prepared to spend a lot of time with it before you start drinking, or you're just asking for a fight with your TV.

Trivia - I still haven't actually tried this; I'll update again when I do.

Game Party..! This is actually a fun game once you figure out a few nicks.
A good party usually is one where there are multiple players involved, right? That is the biggest limitation out of two we found for this game which, although its advertising pitch states is fun for the entire family, some of the games are limited to ONE user at a time, and by that I mean that a player must select a character, play the whole game turn, finish and THEN another user may repeat the cycle to play the same game. So unlike Wii Sports, Wii Play, etc., staggered game play is not an option where you would expect or wish for it. That's not fun!
The other flaw is the controls. More often than desired, the controls seem to be missing calibration, making a simple move either innacurate or you may have to swing your arm more than once to get it to respond.

The game flow itself is ok and if you have already played this game before (or can get at least some time before the rest of the gang), it is easy to engage a group in these challenging games for fun. Try Darts or Table Hockey!

GAME ON!

Once you get the hang of holding the controller in weird ways, you can enjoy great competition with some of the games. We love the darts and shuffleboard, but haven't played the other games a whole lot yet. All in all, it was a great price for hours of fun!!

Darts - Great party fun. Easy to learn . Four players can compete in this game at once.

Trivia - Fun for those into trivia games. Great way to rest up when everyone is beat from the games.


This game package is a great value when considering it can be purchased under $25.

All games are excellent with the exception of ping pong (good). My family and I play and compete against each other for hours. I especially love the dart game, basketball and skill ball. Loved game party so much that I purchased game party 2.

It's a fun game and easy enough for my 4 & 6 year olds to play. You don't get to use you Mii's but you can unlock characters. I like the darts and trivia game, can't quite figure out the shuffle board game yet. Shootin' hoops is hard - kinda frustrating but a nice game to add to your Wii collection!

Wasn't what I expected. Graphic was poorly done. There are seven games you can play. Darts (okay) - Table Hockey (terrible) - Skill Ball (enjoyable) - Hoop Shoot ( enjoyable ) - Ping Cup (humm, still trying to figure this one out ) - Shuffle Board ( I really enjoyed this game ) - Trivia ( not what I expected for a group type game ). I paid about $20.00, to be honest, it should had only been about $5.99. But that just my opinion.

The games included on this disc are great and fun for all ages. My mother who is sixty even enjoys it!!

Can you ever get enough Wii games? No, so I had to add this one to our collection. It's so much fun and believe it or not good exercise. Love Wii and all the games that go with it.

I ended up buying Game Party and Game Party II and gave one away because they're almost identical. There's no reason to buy them both. Same games except one. We love the darts, shuttleboard, and other skill games. They are all great fun.

We really like our new game, its fun and keeps us entertained on those wintery nights where you just want to stay at home and there is nothing to watch on TV. The price was fair but the shipping was a little disorginized and slow,but overall we are very satisfied.

I just picked this game out of the air. I'm not sorry I did. My Grandkids and kids have a ball with it. It has provided numerous hours of enjoyment. Love the Skee-Ball. It's great.

I have not played all the games but there are a few that I love (Darts, Air-Hockey.
If you have a family night - this will build teams.
We love it.

Liked the fact that I could get together with friends and not have a blood and gore game . Just plain fun , the kids could get involved if they could take it away from the adults!
Quite a few games in the package too so you dont get bored quickly.

When we received the Wii Game Party it was as seller described. The item was shipped and received quicker than expected.

I love the game, my daughter is going to be thrilled to play all the fun and new games on her Wii. One of the benefits of this is that there are many games on the disk, it's not just one game. she will be able to play darns, ping pong etc..

This is a very fun family orientated game. I had been looking for a game for all my family to play. They range from three to thirteen. This game allows all of us to enjoy family night together.

My whole family is enjoying this party game concept. We play it all the time. Some of the games can be challenging, but that is what we like about it. So much fun!!

We recently purchased the Wii, and wanted various items to do play on the wii, so we decided to purchase this particular game. We Love It!!

I really like the game. At first I was a little frustrated
with the games and how to play...but once play it more,
you figure things out.
I would definetly recommend....very fun! Especially the shuffleboard
and the basketball hoop games!!!

It s a x-mas present cant wait to enjoy it. wii is a great video system outdoes all other games ive played and ive had them all !!
