Nauti Nights by Lora Leigh (2007, Paperback)

NAUTI NIGHTS is the second book of Lora Leigh's Nauti series and proves to be exactly as the title alludes. Nauti to the core, Dawg Mackay is hardcore and refuses to apologize for his ways. Investigating missing weapons and possible illegal links to Crista, Dawg does what he thinks best. And his best is hot enough to scorch the pages of this book. Virile, sexy and downright lusty, Dawg tops my list of "bitable" men. The man can ratchet up the heat in this book with one searing look. Crista with her sassy attitude and witty banter is no slouch when it comes to standing up to Dawg. She baits and taunts the forceful hero, and the reader is left holding her breath waiting to see who wins the next round. In my opinion, they both do.

Grab the ice before picking up this book! And give yourself plenty of time for an engrossing read, because once you start, you won't set it down before the final word. This book is NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEARTS!

Another fun romp with the Mackey cousins. This time it's Dawg who finds himself face to face with a lost love, Christa. Determined to 'have' her once more, things get really interesting. Add to that a murderous plot and the fun really begins

This book was better than the other 3 in the series.
The story line could have been better, it felt rather weak, didnt feel in dept and didnt give the 'thrill' you get when reading a good action packed book. The main characters are Dawg (horrible name) and Christa.I found Dawg fulfilled all you expect from an alpha male but Christa came across as a typical dumb blonde despite the authors attempt to paint her as a strong lady. She was easily pushed over as Dawg did his 'me Tarzan, you Jane' routine! Their love scenes were however actually quite good. Not for the faint hearted though, i.e, you will find the f's, c's and p's in there.
Not a keeper on my shelf but all in all it was not overly too bad a read.

The romantic and sexual tension are intense! Even better than the first book in this series. Lora Leigh has never disappointed me, and this is no exception.
