Cleveland Hi-Bore XL Tour Driver Golf Club

I love it , had to get use to it at first. Realizing it was not the quick fix club. But its fun hitting last on Saturday mornings.

The tour version is an open faced driver designed to eliminate the left side of the course. This club does that very well, plus has an extremely high MOI to help with those slightly off-center hits. It also has a very high spin rate which should be noted, so if you need spin-start here. If too much spin is a problem- look elsewhere.
Yes it is ugly, and it sounds funny also--but I can tolerate that for short grass.
FYI the XLS is even higher launch with even more spin.

It is in perfect condition!...like new....cost me about $300 dollars less to buy on ebay compared to local retailer!!!!!!!!

The Hibore XL (Conforming version) is a powerful weapon against long par 5's. The scope crown design of the Hibore produces superior club head speed to other designs. I bought this driver head instead of a full driver to be able to customize my shaft selection to maximize it's performance. The Stock Fit on Red and Gold options are very good shafts. The red is a stiff tip design and will produce a more penetrating, lower ball flight. If you have never hit one of these try it, you will be amazed!

The shaft was old and needed a technology update and the head seemed to lack pop. I bought because of a great price from an impecable seller delivered outstanding service. I am re-shafting the driver and donating it to my high school golf team.

I used to play with other brands, but in my opinion I prefer this new I bought. It's easy to play and drive very far, it also fit to my swing style.

Like most golfers looking for distance off the tee,thinking this will be the club that will do it.Great club but not the answer.The price was right and the seller delivered as promised.I've made some great purchases on e-bay,no complaints there.

The best driver I have hit since the 510TP came out. Mid launch, low spin equals good drives that get up quick, flatten out, and then ROLL out. The FFP (full face performance) is legit, as anything but severe heel strikes still have admirable results. I've also found the club hard to hit a snap-hook which was my nemesis for the last few years. Factory shaft is also servicable - there is no real need to pull the shaft before the club is hit to put a new one in it.

All in all, 5 stars here.

I am still gettig familiar with this driver. My other driver is 9.5 cleveland launcher which I still hit well but I am looking for a lower trajectoury. I wanted this driver for wind conditions.
This is a SWEET weapon---BOOM!!

When I buy golf clubs It is a trip to the local shops to hit into a net and get a feel for how the club feels. When I hit the cleveland Hi-bore I had never had a better feel of a driver in my hand. So now I come home and look at E-bay and find a good price on the same club and make a bid and win it. I have been using the club for approximately 5-6 weeks and it is even better than I ever anticipated. I have increased my yardage off the tee by 25-40 yards. Oh by the way I was using a Taylor made R-5. My experience with purchasing on E-bay was once again excellent. I feel safe and secure in the E-bay/Paypal process and have made several purchases. this is by far the longest and most forgiving driver i have ever used!!!!!!!!!! a must have for any golfer
