Super Star Wars (Super Nintendo, 1992)

So to start off this game made me mad becuase in order to shoot you have to stand still or jump. You can't simply shoot while running? Another thing that got to me was the fact that there isn't any passwords to start where you left off. So when you make it to the 5th level and want to quit for a while guess what you have to start all over again. There are a few levels with a 3D thing going on that is pretty cool and fairly simple though. While the Star Wars premise makes it fun these 2 simple things bring it down so far that it just can't recover.

it's a awesome game for it's time! it can still be fun, even with the gaming technology that we have in the market today! That is what makes this game a classic for the snes!

My son loves this it came with so many extras. I decided to buy this for my son he has been asking me for years as his original one was lost in Hurricane Charley. His favorite game is super mario 64.

Loved the movies and as soon as the game came out for the super nintendo, i had to buy it and beat it! I love this game!

Super Star Wars is a slightly difficult side scrolling game. The graphics were a little more advanced than most of the SNES games i've seen around. Even though it is kind of difficult, the game is still quite enjoyable.

Super Star Wars is the first in the Star Wars original trilogy for the SNES. All three games had and still have great graphics for their time as well as a great music accompaniment, much of which came from the movies. The boss battles are fun and challenging, many of whom are recognizable from the 4th movie. It is one of the harder titles for the SNES, but hard doesn't mean bad, it just means it'll take some time. Overall, very recommended for anyone looking to relive old SNES days or anyone who missed the days of the SNES.

Super Star Wars is a great classic game. With a whole lot of side-scrolling goodness, this title is a ton of fun. If you are not into the side-scrolling genre, I would advise steering clear of this title. So, if you like classic gaming, or are a Star Wars fan, Super Star Wars for SNES is the the game for you!

This game was an attempt by Nintendo to do 3D before the capability was really there. The game is hard and not as enjoyable as the other star wars games for SNES. Not a bad game but not our favorite.
