The Shield - Complete Fifth Season (DVD, 2007, 4-Disc Set)

5th Season of the shield is probably the best season of this series. I would probably have to say.. its the best series in any TV series that has been out. This kicks sopranos butt. The cast is very intense in this year and very interesting on what will happen in season 6. This is a must buy series.

I am so very dissapointed in the purchase of this Item the seller I purchased this from advertised that the video was available for purchase at the time of advertisement so I purchased it for my daughter who had terminal cancer she loved the Shield i never recieved the DVD so I contacted the seller he said it had a march release date and he advertised that which was not true so the second week of Jan I requested a refund for the Item he said he did not do refund checks so I wrote back and asked him to refund it thru pay pal I never recieved the refund so I have written him several times requesting the satus of my refund he will not respond back I am very upset! could you please assist me in my refund I really don't feel he should continue to sell on eBay I read his write backs and he has alot of very unhappy X-Customers could you please help me recieve my refund I would really appreciate it I would be so thankful I will look forward to hearing from you, It has kept me from continuing purchasing on eBay! I'v watched "The Shield" since day one. Buy it you'll love it! And if you don't, well sell it on ebay to someone that will.

Fast paced, tough and lots of drama. Each program keeps me on the edge of my seat. This is a show you have to watch every week or your lost. I just discovered THE SHIELD during the middle of it's 5th season. I had to order season 5 to catch up on what I missed at the beginning of the season. After I watched all of season 5 I immediately ordered seasons 1-4. This is the only show on TV that I follow every week faithfully. Excellent acting-I love all the regulars on the show. Each one brings something unique to this program. Great writing and directing-WOW!!!! Hope this show goes on for another 5 or 6 seasons. Going to really miss it when it finally goes off the air for good. Highly recommend this DVD to all mature adults. This show is not for children.

This is the best series I have seen in a long time. It keeps you on the edge of your seat always wondering what will happen next. The Strike Team gets in so many tough spots you wonder how they will get out. This show is awesome. Definitely not for children - great adult entertainment.

For Vic Mackey fans, this one is over the top!! This series brings the twists and turns of real life to your doorstep. The Shield series is renown for it's intense episodes and season 5 tops them all to this point. There is a reconning point in all of our lives and this 5th season brings it like no other televisions series can. This is the best of the best. Whatta ya waitin for? BUY IT!!!!!

Forrest Whittaker is a great addition to the cast. Best season yet. I was very happy to see Glenn Close hit the road and the whole team be unified again. It's not 24 but I think I am starting to like it more than 24. I look forward to it's final season this year and also the final year for Sopranos. It's a good time for TV.

great show, great acting, great story lines. the best show out there hands down. if you dont like this show there is something wrong with you. i strongly advise for you to give this show a watch and become amazed

I recently bought a movie from you and I was very happy I payed for this item the day I won the auction. I received the movie one day later. I was so pleased and shocked I received the movie so fast.

What do I like about the shield? Michael Chiklis, CCH Pounder, Walton Goggins, Michael Jace, Cathy Dalin Ryan, Benito Martinez....just to name a few. A great television series. I hated to see it end. And what a great buy on Ebay at only $15. Thanks Ebay and Happy Holidays.

The Shield is a great series, and season five did not disappoint. The show is very difficult to rent in the local video stores, including Blockbuster.

The shield is bad ass, I bought it, cause i wanted to know what happens next. I'm still watching the fourth season, so you know, I guess I'll guess how it was, since ya'll keep asking me to leave this review. Michael Chiklis was very good, a new twist with every episode, you stay on the edge of your seat throughout the entire season. CCH Pounder as always was stunning. The writers continue to keep this series tough and the characters real. I'd reccommend this to most anyone, not necessarily my sister or mom, this is kind of rough sometimes, but it's real you know. If you can get past a little of that, you will really like this.

Excellent series. This show redefines the typical cop drama. I would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys an action packed drama.
