Now, I have played Ace Combat 3, 4, 5 and 6 (prequel to 5). And they are all great games with great stories. The Ace Combat series has got to be the best Air fight simulator out there. If you are new to this type of games I recommend you to start playing Ace Combat 4 first, after this go to Ace Combat 6 and, after that go to Air Combat 5. I do recommend playing all those 3 games if you are into them but if flight simulators are not your style I suggest you play Ace Combat 5, which is a game that will be a good game that will keep you entertained for days.

Ace Combat 4: Shattered Skies is an excellent all around fighter-pilot simulation game. The story line is intense and exciting. The graphics are very high quality for Playstation 2. I really liked how it has a multi-player feature where you can fly against your friends in a one-on-one battle or up against computer controlled enemies. All around great game. I love it.

The game arrived fairly quick, but didn't have the instruction manual. A different CD-Rom game was in the place of the instructions, so all is well.

Not bad game. I only wish that you could have more targets to take care of after a misson. Basically, I was looking for more free flying.

Still overall a very good game and challenging at times. The last mission is super hard.

I bought the game as a birthday gift for my 9 year old son and he loved it. He was impressed that the game was new, in the original box with the booklet enclosed. That was a big plus. I told my son that I had purchased him something from ebay and it would be arriving in the mail. Watching him with great anticipation awaiting the arrival of the game was great fun! Making future purchases through ebay will be at the top of our list.

I started playing the game with a friend and noticed that it was so much fun and yet so simple to play. I started playing the missions and next thing you know I beat the game, but it gets better. I played again and beat it again on a different level. You can play this game over and over and it takes awhile to get bored. By the time you overplay it by yourself, just find some friends and play with them. After that, the new one should be out to start all over again.

This is the first aerial combat game I've ever owned, so I'm not sure if I'm the best person to rate it. That being said, it's an easy game to play but can see how it can get monotonous after a while... you chase them, they chase you, they fly by, you chase them again... The graphics are pretty cool and has lots of camera angles so you can see how you went down in flames from every possible view. Overall, not a bad game.

Very awesome game. Has a large selection of planes to fly and a great assortment of weapons to try out. Awesome graphics and landscapes. Game play is a little predicatable but still very very fun.

The game features several real world aircraft. Flight differs between aircraft so learning the manuvers becomes a challenge. Story line is great as well. I have purchased this game twice for myself and have given it as a gift to several of my friends. I would recommend this game to anyone looking for a very well designed combat sim.

This game gets your attention once you begin, it isn't as deep as belkan war or the unsung war but it's a good hook.graphics are very cool and the controllers are confortable but as expected later version have some other things that make them better. I doesn't really have "boss fights" which takes the edge off when you actually beat something that can be considered a boss. I compare it to the first drakengard because the story doesn't have such a fluent movement but great game to begin, also the actual gameplay is a bit more difficult than game play of later installments.

Great graphics and physics, simply one of the best in its genre. After playing this game, I decided to get the other 2 titles available for the PS2.

I bought this game for my husband because he is trying to get the collection and it is hard to find in stores even second hand....When I bid on this item i understood that it was second hand item and it had been used before and it may contain a couple scratches that i could have handled but the condition that i have gotten this game is uncalled for I would have never purchased this if i had known what kind of condition this is in it will not play and I would not have sold it on ebay if it were me...I do not take people for thier money like that I know what that it is like to work for my money I do not steal it from people by selling bad or destroyed items... will not purchase from again...this seller is making a bad rep for ebay

We've spent hours playing this game. My son's love it!! It's completely worth it and my kids will behave for days just for a couple hours of play time with this game.

The game is as best as it can be. The story that comes with the game can be quite touching when one thinks about it. The flight system is very easy to use. The combat is challanging and the missions are rarely dull, mainly due to the amazing enviorment and the combat that comes with it. Comepared to the other Ace Combats so far it has to be said easily that it is ine of the best.

Awsome game. Best game i ever played and i still have only flown one plane. Once i start playing i can't put it down.

When it comes to the ACE COMBAT SAGA, this one, Ace Combat 4: (Shattered Skies) is what i´d like to call: A really good game when it comes to aviation sim.

I've always enjoyed this genre since it first came out. Apparent this is supposed to be the best. We'll see XD.

The graphics on this game are good....it's a nice, tough, boyish game! Even Daddy likes to fly the planes and try to win against his boys. Good Daddy-son time.

First off I rated this lowered then what I felt it deserves, but that because if you prefer realism over action-packed, this game may not be for you. However if you prefer action, this is a definite buy. Should you prefer realism, get Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War. This game seems like Ace Combat 2 with much better graphics, but compared to AC2, AC04 has less varied missions. Alot of the time, you'll just be destroying as much as possible. I imagine it'll bother some people, but I thought it was fun. Usually I just blow stuff up anyways. The game's soundtrack truly shines as the best in the series, especially the 'Megalith Angus Dei', which is a techno/symphony score set to the lyrics of W. Mozart's Requiem, Angus Dei movement. It sets the tone for the greatest firefight of the series. Check this one out.

i bout the cd three weeks ago it is working with no problem and it was as described but it was not fun as we expected.

Game works just like brand new. No scratches or marks on disc. It came in original case, but without booklet, but I knew this before I purchased it. This is an exceptional buy at the price I paid since new game is about $25.00.
