Avatar: The Last Airbender (Wii, 2006)

Avatar: The Last Airbender had the potential to be an enjoyable game for both children and adults but most of that potential went untapped, and the extremely repetitive and tedious gameplay isn't likely to appeal to either audience. Unless you’re a die-hard fan of the show, choose "Marvel: Ultimate Alliance" instead.

The game is OK, mainly if you're a fan of the show, otherwise, you'll get bored pretty fast.
I bought it because my son loves Avatar and so Do I, but sadly the game doesn't live up to the great show it's based on.
Not a bad buy for the price I got it for, but to buy it at the full $40-$50 bucks at retail, I would have waited for the price drop.
If you can score a good deal, and you're a fan, get a copy, it's pretty fun for a little while, which is how long it'll take for you to beat the game.
But if you're not into the show at all, skip the game, or rent it.

Simple RPG game with some fun fighting elements with the controller. Not the best game but it definitely deserves a good rating. Fun especially w/ the Wii control scheme!

I bought the game for my son, but he does not play it much. When he did play it, it seemed that he was enjoying himself, but it is not one of his favorite games.

I Bought this for my son who loves the show. He is 8 and seemed to get the object of the game fast. The Graphics are good, but you do need to know how to read as most of the instructions and interaction with characters is reading as they respond when you first talk to them, then the rest of the conversation is reading their response. Also you have to really watch what buttons are pushed as the saving and using different controls is kinda of confusing and sensitive. Overall a good game that is worth having.

We have this game for Gamecube. It is much more exciting and challenging on Wii. If you know someone who is a fan of the Avatar this is the game for them!

Only one player mode. When somebady talk to you. You have to read thecaptions instead of hearing the voice. No real interaction with other people.

Love the cartoon series so I thought I'd check out the game for the Wii.. Ughh...this game is not for grown ups at all. I'm not saying it's a bad game just saying an adult will become bored very quickly. Some amazing Wii controls are a great addition but over all...You just end up mashing one button over and over again...

Get this game if your kids love the cartoon....it has the same voice actors doing the script but the animation is cell shaded and not very resembled to the cartoon itself...I bet they would love playing it though...I enjoyed it for about a half hour then it became too repeatable.

So get this game for your kids they will love it...If you are an adult...I'd advise renting it you can beat it fairly quickly.

After first hearing about it i was questioning wether or not this was going to be a good game. but if you are indeed a fan ro know someone that is if Ang...then they will love this game!!!

I must say for being a used game there were on a few fine scratches, but it is used right! Shipping was very fast, my son loves the game!!!

The only thing I would like better about this game is if it were 2 player. Other than that a pretty good game. My kids love the show and enjoy the game immensely.

This game is awesome!!! I loved the new features, including the new gameplay with the Wii Remote.
I have the same game for PS2. This one blows that one out of the water. Graphics are updated as well.

Great game, action packed. This game is great for the Wii console. We play it constantly....Its a good time for the whole family. The Airbender moves are awesome. I like how they included Aang and Katara's moves, much better than the Xbox 360 console games. We enjoy it during family night

My son and daughter love playing this game! I recomend it for any child! The only downside is it's a one player game.

The characters look wierd. They used 3d models, but only 2 or 3 colors on each one to make them look like cartoons.
It has almost no story, but drops you in the middle of the north pole, sending you on little quests. What story did finaly come, was not true to the show. This is what gives movie/show games a bad name. I'd like to see this done by a good gaming company.

The backgrounds are good, and they got the real voice actors.

i decided to buy it because i thought it was going to be as good as the secound one. but you have talk to the same person to many times to get one thing done. the kids didn't like it as much for the same think.

I paid like $11 for it for an xmas present to the kids; it was used, but turns out just like new. It works great. The kids like it and play it. The transaction went great and I would defintely do it over again.

i just bought avatar the last air bender it ok graphic are poor and story plot bad but for a kid it would be ok

my godsons love the game i got the game today at 4pm got home at 430pm and my godsons are still playing the game

I bought this for my nephew..He seems to like it very much. Has played before on PS 2. He did not have any problems learning to play with the Wii.
