Rush - Replay (DVD, 2006, Bonus CD)

This is Rush at it's best. Classic Rush released on DVD for all to enjoy. If you long for the oldies done in the old fashion, then they've given you what you need. My favorite part is finally getting Exit Stage Left on DVD so I don't have to resort to my old VHS. Now I can finally retire that old tape player and enjoy them on my surround sound with no digital loss. It's been a long time coming and there are so many extras in this pack, not only are you getting classics, but it's feature rich. Enjoy it half as much as I do and your gonna love it. Thanks guys... First off, let me start by saying that the remastered sound on these DVDs is very crisp, and the 5.1 mixes are done very well, considering the material is 20-30 years old. The footage of "Exit...SL" is still a tad grainy, but light years better than the original VHS. The video quality gets better with "Grace..." and best with "ASOH". The bonus CD is the audio soundtrack taken from the "Grace" DVD show. Also included is 3 separate booklets for each show. Just a great package from the boys of Canada!

I love how all of RUSH first 3 live concerts are in one package. Exit Stage Left is a great classic,Grace Under Pressure is fantastic,and A Show Of Hands is a winner,plus the extra CD is an added bonus.

EVER WANTED TO SEE A SHOW, YOU MAY NOT HAVE SEEN FOR YEARS EARLIER, BUT WANT TO! THIS ALBUM GOES BACK TO THREE SEPERATE CONCERTS FROM THE PAST. ALL THE WORLDS A STAGE, GRACE UNDER PRESSURE, AND A SHOW OF HANDS, ALL SOUND ABSOLUTLY AMAZING!!!

As a Rush fan this dvd set and cd are great to own because I never saw them live and this gives a good view of them in their prime playing their great music from 1978 thru the 80's as they finally received some acclaim. I really liked the "Grace under pressure" dvd and cd, they are great!

I AM NOT A HUGE RUSH FAN.. BUT I DO ENJOY THEIR MUSIC. BOTH THE AUDIO & VIDEO WERE TOP NOTCH AND I COULD NOT DETECT ANY GLITCHES. JUST MY OWN OPINION BUT I THOUGHT GEDDY LEE'S BASS WAS A LITTLE TOO HIGH IN THE MIX. I DO ENJOY ALEX'S GUITAIR WORK MORE THAN I DO GEDDY'S BASS PLAYING STYLE. I THINK THIS SET IS A FANTASTIC VALUE FOR THE MONEY I PAID FOR IT & I AM SURE ANY RUSH FAN WOULD BE PLEASED.
