They're Classic Characters, but Minor Flaws Are Present

I loved the TMNT when I was young boy...but watching the series now, I can't help but notice a lot of flaws in the production values which are rather bothersome. Let's put those aside, though, and talk about what's good. No matter the flaws, this is a classic cartoon series and anyone who grew up on the Turtles should definitly invest the these volumes they're releasing. It's great to relive the better days of these characters. I feel that children today would still enjoy the original series - infact, I'd go as far to say that children would enjoy the original series more than the modern series on tv today. What's better about the original? Let's go through just a few points: Shredder...the original is always best, Bebop and Rocksteady, Krang, Dimension X, other random mutants and monsters who work their way into stories and, of course, the Technodrome! If you're younger and watching the newer series, please give this series a chance because you might be surprised.
Ok, now to those flaws. I notice that this series, in all its seasons, seem to carry on the same flaws. Through out the series, characters voices would change during one episode, then return to normal during the next episode. Sometimes they colored the turtle's headbands the wrong colors and sometimes the voices would be matched up with the wrong turtle. While little inconveniences such as these don't ruin the cartoon, it can become a tad frustrating....especially when the voices change and it's not even a close impersonation.
Other than that, fans should add this to their collection. Fans of the newer series should definitely give this a try...
