The Pretender - Season 3 (DVD, 2009, 4-Disc Set)

It is a mentally stimulating show.....with very interesting and complex characters.
They are able to entertain you without showing blood and guts every episode like more current, primetime dramas on TV do now. I love the innocence that Jarod has, all the while being very intense and strong. I guess the only thing that I would have written differently would be more of a softening of Ms. Parker towards Jarod. Her continuing to feel so much distain for him when we are in the 3rd season is not truly believable after he has done so much to prove himself and his character to her. And by the way............are we ever going to find out what her first name is? :-)

Ah, if only the world had more Jared's. Jared gives us hope that there is someone out there always ready to help those in need. Jared inspires us to do more for our fellow man. How can you go wrong with that. Michael T. Wiess plays Jared with such versatility....showing us the innocent child to the strong defender. It is also a pleasure to watch the pretender and learn the secrets behind THE CENTER.

Very interesting series. Decided to buy because I missed most of it on TV. Glad that I purchased it.

one of the best shows ever on TV. needed season 3 to complete my four season complete set. Season 3 arrived quickly and in excellent condition. Started watching it the same night. 2 of the 3 season purchased at Costco had to be sent back to Fox for replacement due to disk surface damage.

My kids and I are now watching Season 3 of the Pretender and still love it as much as the first two seasons. Jarod just keeps on getting better looking!! This season is emotionally brutal for Miss Parker's character. I definitely shed tears watching her heart get torn out of her chest. She is an incredible actress. Her family situation keeps getting weirder. Jarod is still coming to the aid of the mistreated as well as finding clues to unravel both his and Miss Parker's pasts as well as some welcome surprises for Sidney. He also keeps watch over Miss Parker, Brutes and Sidney and is there to protect them from harm. I highly recommend this whole series. Great for the whole family.

This series was excelent. It made me think about the book I read in the 60's of the great imposter. The cast was marvelous. This was a great buy from a great eBay seller. I always keep a watch on her items as she likes the shows I like.

As the Pretender series continues, Jared is able to shed light on his family and the families of others whose lives have been devastated by the Center.

The series is great and I've loved it since it was on T.V. so, it was an easy decision to buy a few seasons. Jarod is so captivating and Ms. Parker is such an interesting character that it's easy to get hooked. I only wish there were gag reels or more special features to look at!

If you grew up watching this show on the TV, you will love this DVD pack. I have this and I cross stitch while I watch the DVD's.. The show is just as I remember it, the only difference is there aren't any commercials.... For all of you that enjoyed the show when it was on will love these DVD's.

It is very interesting and keeps the viewers on their toes to find out the secrets. It is very exciting that we are all waiting for the final season to come out.

I started watching these shows a while back love the way that Jarod is always helping people. If you seen the last episode of season 2 you would know why I chose to buy this. hehehe

Purchase was well worth the price paid. My only concern was that the discs required an intense cleaning before they would play properly. Once I had done that I was very satisfied.

We collect this series, so we bought it on ebay because they are less expensive than in the stores. Also, it's quicker! Can't wait to buy Season 4!

We had bought the first two complete seasons abought two months ago and were looking for the rest of the series to complete our collection. This time around it was even better than when it first aired on tv because we weren't inturpted by comercials
