This book was in immaculate condition when I received it. No marks inside. Some of the designs/colors used in the design are dated but, for the most part, are very usable designs that I plan on using in my cross stitch. The book looks brand new. I bought it because my daughter and I are stitching designs on onesies/baby t-shirts, shirts, etc. I knew a book with that many designs would have at least some designs we could use. The price was right. I'm so glad I bought this book. I will be using it well and often.

This is an excellent book for people who like small projects, especially beginners. It is broken down into sections such as pets, professions, baby, santas, patriotism, kitchen, homes, plants and many more. I really like this book as it provides so many topics and choices within the topic to choose from which can be done in a few hours. Enjoy all you counted cross stitchers lovers!

) This is a great book with many different types of cross stitching subjects. The charts are in black and white however they are still each to follow and understand. If you love to cross stitch you will love this book!

) When this book first came out, it was a must have at 24.95. Now on eBay you can pick it up for under $5.00 and if you stitch small designs and make up bibs, samplers, baby items, towels, borders, etc this is one of the must have.
Sam is a great artist and so funny in real life. Since I have been in the business 26 years, he was one of my most enjoyable designers I have met.

Exact title of book-familiar with Sam HawkinsCross stitching is a hobby of mine. I live in a small town and cross stitching books, supplies, etc. are nearly gone. The book has many categories - sports, animals, flowers, little houses, baby motifs. These can be bought individually in separate leaflets, but having them together is really nice. Thanks to ebay, frames, floss, material and patterns are available. The nearest craft/hobby place is about 80 miles so ebay is a life-saver to be able to get the supplies needed to complete a project. This particular book is in excellent shape and I am very pleased with my purchase.
