Casio TV-980 2.3 in. Handheld TV

I bought this item because my son is part of the American Red Crosses Advance Team. He deploys into disaster areas prior to the disaster to do public relations. It is critical that he has access to media and most of the places he goes to either lose power or have none. This TV is his lifeline. The TV was exactly as the seller advertised it to be. It was brand new in the original packaging and works well. I also appreciated how quickly the seller shipped this merchandise. At the time I bought it my son was in Iowa ahead of the flooding.

I'm satisfied with the purchase of the Casio TV. This is the first time I have bought a used item on ebay and though it is obviously used, it is in good condition as described by the seller.

I was searching for a portable TV when I found this grat deal here. The TV is very good at all. Well constructed, robust and has a pretty good design.

It receives VHF and UHF channels. It´s sensitivity is very good. It can receive weak signals without an external antenna.

The image and the audio quality are also very good.

It requires 4 AA batteries to operate. But you can use an external 6V AC/DC adapter.

It´s very easy to operate.

The only thing I desliked is the battery life. I´ve used 3.200 mAh batteries and could watch the TV for about 1.5 hours.

Overall I liked it very much and would recommend buying it.

I think this little tv is fine for what it is. Sometimes you can't see the picture depending where you are/reception, but you can hear it. If your fussy, don't buy it, its not LCD. Glad I have it.

Bought this little hand-held TV and did not expect too much of it. Mostly wanted it to watch the weather at work. It has a surprisingly good picture, good color, and receives more channels than expected. This is how it works at home or outside. However, inside, at a workplace in the center of a large city with much electronic equipment around, it does not work very well and only receives 3 channels and all are blurry. But outside or at home, with not much other radio interruption it works wonderfully. Probably best used for hiking, camping, etc. - any place that is away from too much electronic equipment and radio towers.

my sister has one and she uses it daily. while changing the batteries, i accidently broke off the stand. i searched e-bay for a like replacement and i was very lucky to find the exact one, color and all. so now she has the new one and i have the one with the broken stand, which i glued together. now we both can enjoy our own t.v.'s when we are out and about. e-bay is a great place to find just about anything that you want or need, and many things i never thought of, at a great savings and i can shop without getting dressed.

I bought this item to replace a similar lost item. I came to ebay because it's the best place to purchase items, of course. I love how portable and small this TV is. In actuality I was able to get this for cheaper than the one I had before and it is a better model.

I bought one of this product before and it was destroyed due to a big flood..so i decided to find one in ebay and finally saw it with cheap price and it's working perfectly fine..they said you wont be able to view from it due to change to digital channels but i still got 2 channels working real good...so the product came as everything i expected...nice product..
