Tiger Woods PGA Tour 06 (Xbox, 2005)

i love the new rivals mode. Needs more golf courses alot of the same from previous tw. Easily best golf game to date and good game even for people who are not big golf fans.

This game is o:k. I personally did not like it as well as Tiger Woods PGA Tour 05. The putting layout is not as easy to read. Makes it more difficult to judge the distances and lay of the green. Overall a fun game though. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys golf.

The graphics are terrific, and I really enjoy creating my own player. You get to start from scratch and work your way up through the rankings. It's great!!!

06 was the best.He said this years version was superior to other years of the game.

I bought this awhile ago because I have the 05 version. This one is alot better, you get to pick your person from hair, to the skin. Which it really goes in depth. As far as the courses they can be challenging thats for sure. The voices and the comments could be a little better. They have very few comments that are made when you have a bad game. Other than that its a awesome, challenging game!

I like that you can play characters from the past to the present. This makes skins games and stroke play really a lot of fun.

This game is AWESOME! I've never really played any of the others before, but this game rocks. There are so many options when creating a character. Also, the challenges go on and on. You can compete in the PGA tour, or do a rival mode and beat the all time greats. This game is a blast, and I love it!

I like the fact that this game, unlike the other golf ones I have played, didn't get old after a week or two. This one has kept my interest in it a few months after I got it. I have finished a few parts of it, but I should have many hours more playing time with it.

Great to find regular XBOX games.We do not have XBOX 360, so we're always looking for regular games.
Is just what I expected.

Real golf is boring. Video Game golf is fun. Tiger Woods golf is great fun. All the little things you can do on this game make it a must have for anyone. Little or big. The little ones will love all the special moves you can do like gamebreakers and controlling the ball in the air. While the bigger ones will like designing the golf courses and the challenges. Like I said, it's the golf game for everyone.

I bid and won the Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2006 for Xbox. This was bought for a christmas present and I recieved the game within about a week. Love the game. Interested in golf so I decided to get it. I would recommend getting it if you are into golf.

This game SUCKS. Maybe I'm just too much of a Golden Tee fan. I like playing video Golf because it's supposed to be easier to play then real Golf. Way too much thinking involved. If I wanted to rack my brain to take a shot I'll go on a real course.

Golf is a great game and playing it on the course feeds my soul but not when the weather makes it so uncomfortable you spend more time complaining than having that Zen like experience many of us strive for round after round. Well, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 06 for the Xbox gave me a great outlet for golf when the weather turned cold and ugly outside.

The game has great variety. You can just start playing a round with what ever settings you choose on more than a dozen courses or you can play on the PGA calender and try to win tour events. Then there's the Rivals Mode where you can challenge golfers throughout golfing history and attempt to become the greatest golfer ever. Occassionally, on your quest Tiger will challenge you to various skills matches that are somewhat short but a lot of fun.

Another fun aspect of the game is the ability to create a character in whatever serious or silly way your heart desires. I was able to make my player look just like me or with another character made him seven feet tall with an afro and 50 pounds over weight. Great for laughs.

As far as the game play goes I was happy with the controller setups and the responsiveness of the AI but found the putting on this game way too easy. Once you get the hang of lining up your putts its simple to one putt almost everything. A bit disappointing but it only took away from the game a little bit.

The graphics were average. Other games of golf have much better graphics. I was also left wanting more with the number of courses available to play. There is St. Andrews, TPC at Sawgrass, Pebble Beach and Bethpage but I was hoping for Augusta National or Bandon Dunes.

If you want a game with repeat playability, then this is right up your alley. You can keep coming back to this game over and over again to feed that need for golf.

I bought this game because I had purchased two of the previous editions ('04 and '05). I was actually a little disappointed with it. They changed the format somewhat; putting is more difficult, the proshop is more complicated to navigate, and the changes are much more drastic than they have been before from game to game, so it takes a while to adjust to it. I do like the time-travel scenarios, but I think I still prefer the '05 version of the game to this one.
