Walt Disney's Classic Cartoon Favorites Starring Donald (DVD, 2005)

Classic Donald. Always suffering for his own orneryness. A certain amount of whacking people and animals on the head, uncivil behavior and the general surliness of the main character make it an un-PC treat.

This is a special wonderful DVD to add to my grand children's collection. Sometimes it is difficult to share with children of today's society of cartoons that were very funny and very simple; this is a wonderful example of what I mean

We bought this movie to add to our disney collection...and our 2 yr old absolutley love it it is funny and such a great movie..

MY 2 YR OLD LOVES IT. GREAT CARTOONS FROM THE PAST. BEATS NEW ONES ANYDAY.............DISNEY DOES GREAT JOB WITH THE CLASSIC SERIES. JUST PLAIN OLD GOOD FUN.

it is what I wanted for my children at the price I wanted, so I ordered it, it came, and I was right they love it, almost as much as the mickey one!!!

Our grandson loves all Disney cartoons and he has really enjoyed watching this DVD. It was an excellent purchase and we have no regrets.

What more can you say about the most beloved character in the Disney family I have not received the tape yet but I know it's a good one and I am looking forward to many years of enjoyment

I love anyhing that is Disney.and I am a big collector of anything that is Disney. My Son collects anything that is Donald Duck so this one is for him for Cristmas

This collection was good, but I hesitate to call it a "Favorites" collection. I liked the inclusion of the "Bee" cartoons, but was displeased by the collection's focus on earlier-era cartoons (late 1930s to early 1940s). I personally tend to prefer the late 1940s to early 1950s era Donald Duck cartoons over the earlier ones, especially due to the more simplistic animation style and slower pace of the earlier cartoons. I felt that more attention should have been paid to the dozens of suitable cartoons in the later era, including those with his 3 nephews (Huey, Dewey, and Louie) or any featuring the "Brownstone" bears. "Don Donald" is just silly, and in my opinion, not a good portrayal of the inimitable and irascible duck who we all came to know and love in later cartoons.

I really like this show and appreciate the great price I got on it. And recieved it very quickly. Thank You!
