Product Information
Total Control quad modem cards with V.90 capabilities include four V.Everything/V.90 modems per card, with error correction, data compression, fax and optional cellular support. The Total Control multiservice access platform is the only system available that supports all high-speed data transmission protocols including the new optional V.34 modem standard, which is capable of speeds up to 33.6 Kbps. The 3Com suite of quad modem cards supports connections to the PSTN via analog lines or digitally through Dual T1/CAS, T1/PRI, E1/CAS or E1/PRI application and interface cards. The Total Control multiservice access platform can be configured with specific modem types for different applications. Analog, digital and analog/digital modems are available. Analog quad modems provide a dense analog connection for analog-only access. Digital quad modems have the ability to utilize the digital PCM signal directly from the T1 or T1/PRI.
